As some of you know, I (like Jiggles) am getting laid off within the next 30 to 60 days from the job I've had at Discovery Channel for 3 years. And many customers have been sympathetic, many giving me business cards and phone numbers to call for some very nice paying jobs.
But one question bugs the shit out of me.
"So what are you going to do?"
Why do you ask this question? What does everyone do when they lose their job? They get a new fucking job. I think from now on, when someone asks me that question, I'm going to respond "I think I'll blow my fucking head off tonight when I get home, maybe molest a few puppies first."
Maybe I'm just testy due to the annoyance and timing of it all. Quote: |
