I need help! My camera died!
I screwed my camera up somehow. It was on so the lens was sticking out. I was lying it on the table for a second when I kinda bumped it on the tabletop. Not too hard at all. Anyhow, the power is off and the lens won't go in. I turn it on and the light stays on for a second or two then it powers off again! I don't know what to do. I tried leaving the batteries out for awhile, hoping the thing would reset itself, but that didn't work.

BTW, it's an HP photosmart m527.

It sounds like the lens got stuck out. Try gently pressing it in while you try to turn it on to "unstick" it.

mmmmm i let it sit overnight with the batteries in it. i tried it just now and it closed back up and said batteries depleted. looks like it'll be fine again after I charge my battereis. strange....
