I live in the countryside and theres this National Trust Arboretum just up the road, last time I actually went was many years ago and although i've kept meaning to go, I just never got round to it. Untill today, when my Mum asked if i fancied a walk around the place as it's such lovely weather, and I leapt at the chance of avoiding doing more revision and so went along.
It's round about bluebelle season at the moment and the place was simply carpeted with them. Thankfully as it's a monday there was hardly anyone around so it was a really pleasant and tranquil walk. Below are a few shots I took - yes i realise that they are a little shoddy, it was a camera phone, but I think a few came out nicely. Hope you guys enjoy! Anyone else been out taking in mother nature?
... Thanks to Draven for the kickass sig!... IT'S COLON BURNING TIME!!!!... |

He didn't see any minstrels, he was about 500 years too late for musicians and about 50 or so for the other kind. |

That and my "communing with nature" usually translates to "mowing my yard and trimming my hedges". Quote: |

I would love to take a stroll in the many parks here, but no transportation. We have some beautiful landscape here. Lakes, limestone foundations, and plenty of trees. Steen vs Bunda |
