The USPS has more important things to worry about than celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of Star Wars. That should be a fan concern, not a government concern, and ultimately the USPS is a government agency.
Anything else I say about this is bound to go political so I'll just leave it at that. . |

And by 'helping us celebrate,' they really mean "we paid them a shitload.'

This is no different than ads on city busses. This actually brings in money to the USPS. It's advertising. KISS will be next.
edit: I misunderstood the ferret. We are in accord. Fosterlager's Big G1 and Botcon sale (with FREEBIES!) Want List TFW2005 and eBay feedback. Collection Showcase Thread! |

edit: I misunderstood the ferret. We are in accord. | That's all good, then. The ad revenue will be squandered by the bureaucracy, course, but at least they'll be squandering that instead of more tax dollars.
I wish Army would sell ad space. I'd love to have a Bradley with a movie ad airbrushed on the side. Or unit sponsorships. Belonging to the 3-6 Coca-Cola Field Artillery Battalion would kick ass. Plus, we'd get free soda. Feedback here! Criminals are HOT. Quote: |
