It has been brought to my attention that we slackers have not made a college football thread, despite the season having started last weekend..while the NFL thread, with the season all of 10 minutes old, is already at 4 pages. 
So...48 hours from now I will be watching the Ohio State-Texas game on a very large TV in Austin, provided I don't pony up and actually get into the stadium at the last minute ($500 for an endzone seat?  ), after which UT will be back at #1.   |

I will go with Ohio St. vs. USC in the title game. Auburn and Notre Dame are very good, but I just think that USC will beat them at home later this season. Auburn has a very difficult SEC schedule to deal with and would expect them to lose at least one game.
Texas is my sleeper pick based on the weakness of the Big 12. My problem with them is this Ohio St. game AND the fact that they could get hurt in the RPI rankings later on. What they need is for Oklahoma to reel off some big wins and that would help. I see them in a BCS game, but not in the title game. | |

Right now I'll say I am USC fan first, UCLA fan second, and Univ of Miami (FL) third. Always had a thing for the Hurricanes.
Oh yeah I hope Notre Dame choke this year. They are overrated imo.
