my thoughts exactly...my puter is getting to the end of its life and ive been pricing a new one. But i will make it last til next year so that vista will be bundled in, as well as having vista compliant hardware.

Exactly. If I upgrade I won't need Ultimate, I'll go for Home Premium and not spend as much.
