George Takei was great. Betty White is still fantastic. Shatner was also kickass when he took the mic. In true Shatner fashion, he made fun of himself before turning on everyone else. There were many great moments throughout the whole show.
The only thing that really anoyed me was that they cut out lots of stuff just so you'd have to go to their website to watch it. The Great Action Master Thundercracker Thread |

It was less a roast of Shatner than 1.75 hours of "hey everyone, George Takai and Andy Dick are gay!". One or two jokes about that wouldn't have been bad, but it seemed like every third comment was some gay joke about George Takai and/or Andy Dick. And someone needs to tell the roasters that they should focus more on the person who is actually there to be roasted and less on each other. While "No Name Comedians Insulting Each Other" might be an interesting show, it didn't make a very entertaining roast. I'm tempted to watch it on Secret Stash to catch the full, unedited set (in the hopes of Shatner doing some additional funny stuff or extended Shatner music videos) but it would probably just be more gay jokes.  | |
