I generally don't get anything when I go to the theater, but if I do, it's popcorn 99% of the time.

When I was much younger, back when I was going to see a movie about once a week or so, I used to sneak in stuff to snack on, but now I go maybe five times a year, so I feel okay "splurging" on the theater fare.

Man, though... what I used to sneak in... candy, Little Debbie Snack Cakes, sodas (cans or 20 Oz. bottles), sandwiches...

Once, I snuck in a bowl of soup. Not even joking. Can't remember the movie, but the soup was good.

 

Maybe doesn't quite count but my local theater sells white cherry Icees. Always get a huge one when I hit the movies!

Favorite candy bar is Crunch. Popcorn is a staple, obviously. Don't mind a little popcorn salt.

 

I always get popcorn, a drink (mainly Fanta Grape Soda), & maybe candy when I go see a movie.

 

Popcorn. Although I sometimes take a bottle of water or candy with me into the theater.

 

Normally popcorn (sweet) and one of those slush ice things.

A couple of times a year, I get to go to the big cinema in the city and we have a McDonalds and then an ice cream in the theatre. The choices of ice cream is awesome. You can choose how many scoops you want, toppings, whipped cream etc. Yummy yummy. I'm going this week again actually  

 

My movie theater sells a cup of really small chocolate chip cookies in a cup that they keep in a little oven.

 

wish they have it here but its a Hawaii thing. Popcorn with mochi crunch.

And if i do have some at home, i'll bring some to add to the popcorn.

 

95% of the time, I can avoid shoving food in my pie hole for 2 hours. But those rare times I get enough points on my movie card for snacks, I get popcorn.

Been well over a decade since I bought popcorn at a theater. I do think theater popcorn is the best type of popcorn just don't feel like paying $5 for a small.

Throwing up because I got into the theater too late and sat in the front seats for Transformers scarred me for life   I don't typically eat when I'm in the theater, but if I had to, I guess pretzels would do

No shit. Recently got matinee tickets pretty cheap, then three large drinks for me and my siblings was like $20!

 

Popcorn.

 

Buncha Crunch candy, can't go without it. I have to watch myself every time though or else I'd have the whole box gone before the the movie even started lol

 

Had to go with carbonated beverages. To be honest, I don't really need that much food while at the theater, but there's no way I'm sitting still for two hours with nothing to drink. Admittedly, I'm probably biased to the soda over just water or juice because I'm addicted to the caffeine of soda. But what can I say, I'm a pepper!

 

One thing I forgot to mention in my original post was that I didn't choose Carbonated Drinks because they give me bad acid reflux to the point where I'm laying down and in pain.

 

I love the Icee's at my local theater. Even better, we get free refills.

 

Other: Dog and Nachos.
It's just a tray with a hot dog and nachos.

It's been awhile, but I used to do just nachos.

Movie theaters shit is so overpriced that I rarely buy anything when I go, but if I do it's usually a lime Coke or an icee and then refill it two more times so it comes out to a semi-stomachable price.
