    Predakwon,

Do you skate as well or just an avid fan?

Yeah, there's so expensive. Major sports city + Original Six Team + Success = $$$$$$

I sat at the last row. Only thing behind was the standing room only. But the fans were awesome. They were really cool asking where I was from, offering me nachos, etc.

I usually get the corporate seats here in NYC since I'm a client for the banks. Yeah, free food and alcohol can't be beat.

Just a fan. I'm an avid skier, but don't skate. Probably will once my 2yr old can though. We'll see if she wants to play, but practice times for kids in the New York area are brutally early. :lol

My colleague is a Ranger fan too and we try to go to the Hawks game when they play the Rangers. They usually heckle him a little bit but nothing like the old days when a Redwing fan would step into the old Chicago Stadium.

Looking back I wish I did not touch the Cup but I was overly excited to say the least. As a long time skater, I have the mentality that you do not touch the Cup unless you earn it. I feel like I disrespected it. Best trophy in sports by far!

Watch Michel Therrien get fired early in the season and Patrick Roy will be the new head coach of the Montreal Canadiens

Holy crap Maple Leaf tickets are so expensive!

Waiting for the Hurricanes and Bruins tickets to go up. I know Canes tickets are cheap, but hoping the Bruins tix won't be too bad.

Nope - its gonna be an original 6 matchup. We get hit with it here in beantown as well when the rangers show up as one of the premium games. I'm on a mailing list for a guy with season tickets - front row balcony vs the Rangers $375 for the pair, and thats under normal face value. it could be that the B's season tickets are sold out, and now on a 2-3 year waitlist thus the extreme prices.

Plus virtually all games are sold out...that's probably why there's no need to put together a winning team. They get their money even if the team sucks.

Gah, that's what I'm afraid of. Oh well, wife and I will be in Boston that weekend in Nov so all I can do is hope it won't be too bad. Nothing was as bad as the Blackhawks game. Blasted Original Six markets....

Rangers will always make money as well when the suck bc of all the corporate sponsorship in Manhattan so I can see the frustration. I'll see if I can do an overnight game in Toronto and fly back in the morning since I went to Toronto earlier this month to see the sights.

Agreed. I know a lot of Seahawks and Blackhawks fans that refer to their team as just 'Hawks.
