Firstly sorry if there is already a thread on this subject if so please remove this one.

Secondly I don’t want this to become a pissing contest, it’s ok to be proud but be humble we all have different stories and circumstances.

With that said what do you guys do for a living and how much money do you make?

I currently work as an art handler/ independent contractor for a contemporary art museum. It's 15 an hour. I'm looking for other art museum / gallery jobs, either art handling or preferably full time education.

Just curious really, toy collecting in general is a privileged money eating hobby and I thought it would be interesting to know what people do for a living in order to maintain the hobby.

    IT guy.

Currently glorified Geek Squad at the moment making around $67K (before taxes) but will be taking a slight pay cut (especially since the Yen gained strength against the USD recently... thank you, Abe :( ) to move to and live in Japan and work on server administration (which is what I actually trained for originally). I think it'll be worth it since, well, because Japan.

Money can buy you a lot of things (like toy robots :D ) but it's no guarantee it'll buy you happiness though.

I'm a nursing assistant and I make about 56K per year, but cost of single living, and education debt keeps me on a really tight budget. Some day I hope to make enough to live how I want.

I work part-time as well at my local supermarket. I don't know how much I make in a year but it's not much. And as I mentioned in several Third-Party discussion threads I also live with my parents so I'm unfortunately unable to buy many of the figures I see on here, especially the high-end Third-Party, Masterpiece and/or box set collection figures.

Again, as I've said before: Being broke sucks. :(
