I honestly think this is more representative of what the Rockets are. Had it not been for an all-time collapse by the Clips in game 6 than they wouldn't have made the conference finals. Harden is great offensively but is a terrible leader and teammate. And yes Dwight Howard will bring misery and despair to any team he goes to.

I don't think I've ever seen Harden play more than 5 seconds of defense.

I still think the Spurs beat the Warriors in 6, but I really hope Curry is healthy enough to play.

The guys on TNT constantly make fun of that fact. He consistently shows up on "Shaqtin a Fool" for his lackadaisical defensive efforts... and now, he's goin' fishing.

Lakers and Rockets have already started lining up for Luke Walton to be their next HC. :lol

I wonder if Luke is looking at Alvin Gentry in NO after he left the Warriors and thinking "Maybe I should stay here..." :lol

I don't watch or play basketball, but the hype is here in Toronto, and I feel it.

This reminds me of what happened with the Blue Jays last year.

ARTICLE: ‘Canada is coming,’ Pacers fans are warned

With Toronto being the only Canadian city in both the NBA and MLB, could you imagine what would happen if we got a NFL team too? (I'm not a football guy )

Speaking of football, I also heard Toronto got a rugby team too...it's part of a league based in the UK...those home games after a bunch of road games would be a killer.

Yeah. I'm a New Yorker and I'm still mad that the Knicks cut him loose like that (right around the height of Linsanity too). Friggin' idiots. Lakers were really no better. Rockets were an ill fit too, and the way MJ treats Lin with the Hornets is just disgusting and head-shake inducing.

I definitely feel race is a factor with the constant BS that Lin faces wherever he goes. At least the guy takes it all in stride, preferring to remain optimistic and let his skills on the court speak for himself.

I think there are only a few teams and coaches that will give Lin a real chance (and the acknowledgement and better treatment that come with it). The Spurs is probably one of them.

I was in NYC during Linsanity and actually bought his Knicks jersey. :lol

What he did there under D'Antoni was magical. But alas, what can you do when Dolan owns the team?

Not that Lin isn't entirely at fault too. He took the money from Houston and learned a valuable lesson. Now that he's with Buzz City, he actually looks happy again.

I was actually kind of hoping the Warriors were going to pick him up again last offseason. But there was already a logjam at the G position and he would've gotten no playing time, which is what he ultimately wants.

Still, I can't believe it took Charlotte this long to turn him loose.

True, forgot about his Golden State Warriors. And agreed he does look happy and enjoying playing the game again. If it gets his team more wins, so much the better. Set Linsanity loose again! :D

The East just seems so bad. Other than the Cavs, they all look mediocre.

C'mon OKC. At least make it a game.

This is why Durant will most likely bolt in the offseason.

Thoughts going into the 4th quarter against the Blazers in Game 1:

    1. With Steph out, the Dubs actually match up better with the Blazers. Livingston's height and length are problematic against Lillard. Compound that with Klay's D, they actually D up the Blazers two guards better than if it were Steph and Klay. We all know that Steph can score, but often times he's the weakest link in the D. As long as the rest of the starters don't have a bad night, having Livingston start definitely makes the D that much better.

    2. Harrison Barnes is absolutely killing his chances at a big contract in the offseason. The guy has just not shown up after his injury early in the season. That makes it kind of interesting because as each game goes by where he's not getting back to his old self, the more the Warriors can actually afford to keep him if they want to.

So it looks like it'll be the Warriors and Spurs each winning in four games, and then playing each other for the championship.

Anyone catch the end to that OKC game? It was quite the finish indeed.

My OKC in 6 pick is still alive.

I doubt that the Spurs are gonna choke. Game was a close one, coulda easily went the other way. Everybody thought that the Spurs would sweep after game 1 and OKCs regular season history (this year) of giving away wins in the 4th. I only saw OKC winning a game or two max so I think they're still on pace. Now if OKC can win game 3, then we'll talk.
