Well another year in the books. This was my 7th year in a row attending C2E2, and it continues to amaze me on just how much it keeps growing. Lots of fun. I could spend everyday at this place if it wasn't for my soar feet. I will say I did have one disappointment, this year there was no cool comic/movie display. No cool Thor, Captain America, ect movie prop displays. No iconic car displays either. One high note was meeting Sean Astin, David Ramsey,Jason Momoa, and Sgt Slaughter! Was really cool shooting the s*&t with Sean Astin and David Ramsey-very cool and nice guys. Meeting Jason Momoa, I had a "this guy is Aquaman!" feeling as he stared me in the eye and told me to move along. My hightlight of the day was a bit sad. Meeting Sgt Slaughter. Boy has he got up there in age, bless his heart. I honestly don't even think he was sure where he even was. His rep was there doing all the talking on autograph and photo pricing. Felt like I was negotiating with a butcher at a meet deli as the rep went over pricing. I almost wanted to stop talking to rep and say to my childhood idol, "Sgt Slaughter , Are you Ok?? Do you know where you are?". Once I paid, the legend finally spoke to casually aske me my name. Next thing I know, he's writing on my SDCC MOC SGT SLAUGHTER CARD- "To Travis, Yo Joe! Sgt Slaughter"- I mean that was cool but I guess I am going to have to keep it forever now. So much for ever selling it lol. Enjoy the floor pics
Yeah, thanks for sharing so many pictures. The Romulan BOP looks great. Definitely a ship I'll get to go with my TOS Enterprise. Hopefully they get around to doing a Klingon Battlecruiser someday. I've seen some photos of DST's DC animated stuff. Any idea what the GL lantern is? Is it a cookie jar?
That is cool. My local comic con is litterally in two weeks. I wonder if I should share mine. also I met Sean Astin last year.
