I rewatched the season 1 finale of Mr. Robot! God, what an amazing show! Definitely one of my top favorite TV shows of all time; I remember seeing the pilot for the very first time, and I was hooked. Can't wait for season 2 this July!
First off, love the idea behind this thread! Nice to see the world getting a dosage of happiness (as best said by somebody, good news doesn't make headlines) As for me, I've come to realize more and more my own capability. Before, it was always me getting to create only because I had a platform created by somebody else. I'm trying to extend that power now, and have begun taking up programming. It's a very interesting process to say the least, and there's comfortable implications that my future is heading off in another direction once more I've also come to realize that I can come forth with the best intentions, and still be depreciated for it, and to not let that affect me and how I treat others
I pretty much got offered a job as the photographer for a local USA/ locally sourced menswear store. The owner and I really hit it off earlier today when I was buying a pair of USA made PF Flyers. He wants to show my artwork as well. This is fantastic news; one of my favorite/ influential artists died yesterday, so it is great to have some good news.
Congratulations on the new job! Bonus deal that the owner is willing to showcase your works Sorry to hear about the passing of an idol. If it's any comfort to you, the impact they leave behind won't be eradicated, and new artists such as yourself can rise to prominence and keep their influence going
Thanks man! It was a hard blow. I had been introduced to his work in college and had personally got to know him when I worked at the Akron Art Museum. I plan on making a few tribute pieces. I have one of his art books that he signed for me, so at least I have that. I also totally agree. After hearing the news of his passing, it has really inspired me to keep making new work
I went outside to yell at the dogs next door that kept on barking and yelled "SHUT UP YOU STUPID DOGS!" and they finally stopped barking.
MOA at work is finally over as the turnaround is done. Been working 12 out of 14 nights since end of March...... I is done.
On my way home found some wave 2 tmnt blind packs. Got Slash and two sets of mousers. First pack was missing a top of a head. Second pack had an extra. Went out later and found wave 1 Titans Returns Deluxes. Got Skullcruncher and Hardhead. Peg said $23, but rang up at $17. Also bought ID4 on Bluray.
Went backpack camping this past weekend. First time doing it. 1.5mi in to our campsite. No other campersite within 0.5mi of us. Did it at Crater Lake. Also did the tourist things. Drove around the rim (sadly part of the East rim was still closed). Did a hike trail which still had some snow patches (another first hike type). Wished we could of stayed longer.
I love how you can make a friend with just a simple conversation. Just met someone tonight and she's cool lol
Didn't find any new TFs today, but did find a Mega Bloks Kubos Skeletor at local Meijer. They were not in the Lego/Mega Bloks section, but in the aisle a few rows down that had different blind box type items.
That's good. I'm the same I can talk to someone for like 10 minutes next thing you know were friends lol
