Home stretch? You know there are some pretty good deals on Craigslist for new consoles, right? WITH games?

I get the bad omen for CL due to scams and violence, but it's mostly great to save money.

Making up sleep and soreness with some 10 hours of sleep on your day off. Oh yes, having no spouse or kids pays off indeed. :D

Cant exactly use $257.73 in GameStop gift cards and $53.84 in Trade-in credit tied to my Power Up Rewards card to acquire something on Craigslist, now can I?
Dude, it's easier for me this way. Not only am I NOT paying a sizeable lump sum out of pocket in one transaction (something I don't like doing), But by purchasing a gift card (or two) each week, I'm racking up mad fuel points for my family.

For the past 20yrs, I've overwhelmingly preferred women who were Persian, which later included Armenian, and more recently Kurdish. They are of cultures and places I feel the most connection with. They speak languages which I have little to no trouble speaking once I learn words and phrases. And even though over the years I've drifted back and forth from all that (for other things or people which were basically distractions), something has always brought me back.

Since October of 2013, I've met many interesting and special people from Iran, Armenia, and Kurdistan - far more than I ever had previously. And in this past year alone, I've made it a point to really get back to and embrace all these things which I am inexplicably drawn to, both consciously and subconsciously. I know it's right when I speak Farsi and Iranians tell me "oh, you must have been Persian in a past life," or when both Armenians and Kurds say "you are one of us."

Before dozing off to sleep last night, I was setting my wake up alarms, then went to delete some work related texts. After cleaning up the messages, I realized something very special. All the important messages I've saved and received within the past 5 months have been from girls who are Persian, Armenian, and Kurdish.

When I shut out the distractions and listened to my heart, I found more of the people and things I had always wanted in my life. Everything happens in its own time.

Put my 2 weeks in at my current job:)

School starts on the 26th for my new job:D  I get a raise just walking in the door, another $1 or so when I hit the field and another one 6 mths later when I hit my 1 year hour marks. It keeps adding up after that as well. More contribution matched to the 401k, pension, better insurance, bonuses... Shall be a good thing.

My kids spending time with my cousins kid here at my house, and acting just like me and his mom used to when we had gone several weeks without seeing each other. Plus making my hubby cookies while watching a baseball game.
