Joe Siegel vs Kevin Smith

Okay, someone pointed this out to me just now and man is it funny. Short story, Siegel walked out of Clerks II and made a huge disturbance in the process. Smith shot back at Siegel on his blog and websites. But the best part is when Kevin faces off against Siegel on Opie and Anthony. The link is at the bottom of the page.

Siegel is so senile it's not even funny. He says that he never made any of the quotes on the ABC website. But the best part is that he doesn't even know he is arguing with Kevin Smith on the show. Take a listen.

Never mind the fact that when you’re paid to watch movies for a living and the only tasks required of you are to a) sit through said movies and b) write your thoughts about them before your deadline, walking out before a movie’s over is pretty unprofessional.

I love how Kevin got permission to use Joel's quote about him being a fine filmaker in ads for Clerks 2.

Too funny. Loved that Joel didn't know that he was talking to Kevin.

I also agree that it was unprofesional the way he left the movie. You don't like the show, fine leave, you don't have to make a spectical of yourself. That is only attention grabbing and not becoming anyone.

That and, you know, it's HIS JOB to watch movies and review them.
"Remember, stop pushing when the Q-Tip hits resistance!"
"What did you say? Keep pushing?"
"Yeah, you go nuts with that."
