Heather Cagle, Teacher, Fired For Taking Kids On Ride In Car Trunk You know, I never thought you'd have to tell someone that its a bad idea to put anyone in a car trunk (and yes I know not all the kids were in the trunk), or to take someone else's kids without permission. I'd ask what this woman was thinking but obviously she wasn't. Seriously dummy, you couldn't have nipped off to the store during recess?
Yeah mine too ha, I have/do change mine in the trunk though weather permitting. Used to have a hatch back now I do it in a normal trunk got a tub lid down in there has privacy, a lot cleaner than those nasty koala things in stores. This lady had some kind of mental boundary l issue.
She admitted that she made a mistake. She was fired for her actions. Roar! Internet/Fake rage! Where's the pitchforks and torches! We demand more to her punishment!
Yup, clear violation of rules for safe transport of people in a position where the safety of others is a primary objective.
At lease she admit what she was doing was wrong. It was still wrong and she shouldn't of have done it. Most people wouldn't even admit what they did wrong these days.
It wasnt the first, nor will it be the last time that this has happened. Thanks social media for making the mundane scandalous.
At least she apologized. It's better than most people these days but still who freaking does that shit?
In Florida you still see people riding in the beds of pickup trucks. Not sure I would ever do it the way people here drive, but you do see it.
I used to do this all the time when I was a kid. I miss the way things used to be. Our whole boy scout troop was in the back of my dad's pickup. He turned the corner and a dude slid off the bench set my dad had, and into a milk crate that had the fire extinguisher in it. Well, the fire extinguisher didn't have the pin in it and it went off. We had a cap on the truck at the time and to make a long story short, we all poured out of the back covered in chalk dust.
Ok so they went to the Walmart behind the school and both buildings share a parking lot. Couldn't they have just walked? I'm lazy but not so lazy I'd pile kids in the trunk to go a couple hundred yards. Ok I google mapped it and it must be a brand new store because it is an empty lot in the pictures. But it looks like maybe half a mile away. Still a bad idea.
