    Interesting.

Watching Mega64 podcast recently, a few things were brought up as far as things lost to time that don't exist on the internet (at least not any more).

Rocco mentioned a radio show called "Hooked on Trivia", and another was old episodes of Tom Green's show where he mentioned Mega64.

I have an audio recording of a TV commercial for the 1st 4 Star Trek series, themed to a monster truck rally. I forget what channel it was from.
I should watch some of these old VHS tapes to see if there are any gems worth trying to save.

*sigh* I wonder if this is a proper time capsule we're crafting, or just the tower of babel that will soon topple and be lost.

Pretty much what smkspy said. Only....I wouldn't call it treasure. For me, since it has absolutely no intrinsic value....it's more trash than anything else. Unfortunately, IMO, used toilet paper has more value.

To the op - I hope you do find your "lost treasure" video. It has no meaning to me.

I'd rather have found the lost parts of Beowulf, or the lost books from the Alexandria Library. There would be a lot of interesting stuff there. Heck, even having all of the 1960's Match Game episodes, which the tapes were wiped, would be more interesting than that McD video to me.

If you don't find this important/interesting, that's totally okay. I don't understand why you'd bother posting here if that were the case, but to each their own. I would like to be the one who started a movement to find this cartoon.

Then this is the wrong place to try to do that. Seriously.

At least used toilet paper served a good use at one point.

All this did was sell cheeseburgers to fat kids. But since none of them saw it - it didn't even do that.

Ronald McDonald is one of those things that, as an adult, just creeps me the fuck out. He's a corperate tool to entice children into eating unhealthy foods, and it's kind of... awful. Like there's plenty of corperate puppets targetting kids, but McDonalds is, like, really really bad for you. Physically bad.

Ok. You don't care one iota about this. We get it.

WHY are you still here berating me for caring?

No....there's nothing about anti-feminism or chauvinism in his topics or post. But there is that "troll" feel to it.

And it's also your opinion, however much in the extreme part of the spectrum of "minority" it is, that it's worth something more than used toilet paper. It's cool. One man's trash is another man's treasure.

    Pretty much this.

I'm curious. Him agreeing with me that toilet paper had value (as opposed to the video that a large majority of us don't give a crap about)....you know...that being just our opinion and all.....how does that equate to him berating you? How did you even come to that conclusion?

When you keep talking about how it's a "mystery" that the last one can't be found, yet the answer is in the very article you posted - it's hard not to say anything.

Ronald McDonald has always creeped me out. Especially the 60s Ronald if you've ever seen the videos.
I'm at least 90 % certain it's him or a buddy of his. Some of his threads posted are almost identical to Jaeg's threads.

I was one of the last to see jagertron (see: source of sig quotes. dude was serious about SPLIT LIP being his buddy). I can see what you're saying. I'm getting some Zaur and Firestorm777 vibes as well.

Perhaps they all became fruitful and multiplied with themselves and....

    Nevermind. That's impossible.

I had my suspicions for a while now, but the thread below started it. I just find it funny how almost all his threads end up being closed/locked by the mods.
