I installed it Sat night. Been running with no problems. Though I switch back to XP when I'm running games and such. Didn't feel like getting all the drivers for my vid card, sound card, etc. Yes, I'm lazy.

Does it run concurrently with XP in the background?

Vista is Longhorn. Longhorn was just the codename before they decided on the Vista.

The DX10 stuff look impressive. I saw some footage one of the gaming sites of the next Far-Cry that was using dx10. Looked incredible. Also Flight Sim X is gonna be taking advantage of some the new stuff in Vista.

I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together.

Wow, your desktop looks just like mine with more folders. And I don't have Vista. What I want to know is if there is any really good reason as of right now to make me want to upgrade besides the looks. I already have the Vista transform pack installed. It even has the glass effects. This OS has got to be 100% better than XP for me to upgrade.

Thanks to Cobalt Agent for the awesome sig!

I'm curious - as an evaluation copy, will the Vista Beta expire, requiring you to revert back to XP?
