Sorry there are some things you say that make me think your getting off on trolling this thread.

There is no way in gods green earth her child has any clue what that figure is.

Shit, grown ass people seeing a person in a "cook outfit" with blue meth would have no clue what the fuck the toy was. They would think it was an Ebola cleaner with a bag of money. Shit, my costume this Halloween was Walter white cook, and every adult thought I was an Ebola cleaner. But this kid would know this was a drug dealer? Really?!

If her kid knew that was a cook outfit, that the blue stuff on the tray was meth, then sorry to say, that is the moms fault.

This too. I mean, I don't mind businesses deciding they don't want to sell certain products or what have you. Like Hobby Lobby doing whatever they did earlier this year or way back a long time ago when Walmart cancelled the exclusive Sleepy Hollow Headless Horseman figure. But those were made by those companies rather than in reaction to some upitty housewife with no life and nothing better to do than decide to push their beliefs on everyone else. And this also comes back to the assertion that some people in this thread have that TRU is somehow a "children's store", or that selling certain kinds of product goes against it's "values". No it isn't and doesn't. TRU is a business. They don't care at all about either children, mothers or collectors, they only care about selling as many toys as possible to as many people as possible. That's their "values". Money. The almighty dollar. And to pretend it's something else is just plain naïve.

I also think some people need to realize that if TRU didn't cater in some way to adults with things like exclusives and unique items like the Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, and other adult themed toys, they'd probably be where places like Kay B Toys have now gone. They know they can't get by just being a toy store to children. That's why many have also been chopped in half into Babies R Us.
They have to change to survive. A plain toy store with just stuff for little kids isn't going to cut it anymore like it did in the 1980s and 1990s. Heck, looking back, I'm surprised at how many toys of those decades didn't get attention by parents given a lot of rated-R movies got toys, among other things.

God forbid if TRU gets that upcoming Alien Queen figure from NECA with the chest bursted bodies backdrop what some soccer mom might think of that once little Johnny sees it and wants it.

I'm just going to repost what I wrote on the petition back when it was only a few thousand signatures (six days ago and still the 'most popular' comment). I could truly give a damn about Breaking Bad toys, but the slippery slope of letting reactionary parents dictate stock is a great concern.

Keep in mind that overly sensitive parents try to ban everything. Remember the parents begging for Power Rangers to be taken off of the air? The pro-adoption group outraged by Thor's Avengers joke that Loki was adopted? People can find any reason for outrage - especially when they're looking.

no it did not really explode with fire and what not. but you remember those crash test dummies? and then there were that hercules figure that blow apart after pressing a button.

somehow i think this is "worse" then a drug dealer at toys r us.

however, it isn't like toys r us is making parents buy it. if they buy it for their kids, it is their own fault.

    I don't really see how that's worse.

You don't see how a toy that dismembers itself into a pile of limbs and torso is worse than a fake piece of meth that a child might not even know what it is?

I am just upset over this family friendly image TRU and this lady are perpetuating take games and movies, they sell movies that are over G rating, toys of games that are way over G rated, games that are extremely inappropriate for kids.

I'd be interested to see if they would pull all their games over E and movies over G for 9,000 signatures, which would make them tank at Christmas.

These areas are readily open and available for children to go into by themselves.

i also have a beatlejuice toy where you impale it with weapons.
and then there is this; decompose
who looked like this in the show.

and it wasn't just the 80's. Jurassic Park had tear away flesh dinosaours. lost world had this. you put that dude inside the mouth of the Trex. and he eats it. he eats a guy!

and there is also crash test dummies playdoh. where you smash two cars together filled with families which YOU just created.

but yes. go a head, say "drug dealing" is worse for kids.

because being high is so much worse then playing with toys which have the intention of bashing them into each other to cause bodily harm.

Breaking news: Fans angered by a non-fan which in turn angers the other half the fandom which in turn... bah.

In other news: armchair CEOs are on the rise.
