And as impressive as his work is, the amount of respect that he is given by everyone is equally impressive. Reading through the original post and seeing the pics of his customs gives you an idea of the creativness and vigor he put into his work. Its very unfortunate that the TF custom community has lost such a valuable contributer, and inspirator. My Transformers are old... |

TFMaster was one of those handful where what was said about him was just as exceptional when he was alive.
I only knew him briefly, and never met him in person, but Bill was one of the main people who inspired me to begin customizing.
I wish he were still around, but I'm glad he was here when he was. My Want List- BT, Alt, BTA, MP Wanted!! My Feedback "Big butts: Superior. Ability to lie: Negative." |

For the record, that repaint of the Cybertron BW Megatron in the list of pics listed is indeed Beast Wars Grimlock - you can tell by the colors.
But yeah - I hope his family is doing alright. |

He was one of the most talented artists I saw on the internet, and I used to be a constant lurker on Transtopia. I never really had the guts to buy another Transformer and get yelled at by my parents for that.
I know that even if you're not here in body, you're be here in spirit.
Rest In Peace, Bill

News Credits: 1 | I came along in early '07 looking for guides/tutorials on custom TFs, I had been on the fence about it for a month or 2 before searching the web.
I had done many model cars for years and was hoping there were peeps out there customizing Alts. as I was just starting to collect them.
First one I came across was Alt. Ruckus (Mustang) by TFM...that face...I just about fell back out of my chair.
I was sold.
I wanted in.
Thank you TFM. |

Join Date: Jun 2006 Posts: 946 Location: Stillwater, Mn Collection Count: 150+ | I don't think I ever registered for an account at Transtopia, but I was a hardcore lurker. By the time I finally went to create an account for the site (after lurking for a few months) they'd disabled the ability to create new accounts... I remember looking through all the threads there and seeing what people were creating out of all these different Transformer figures. When I first saw his Powermaster Prime I'd thought he'd articulated the original figure, as soon as I realized that it was Masterpiece Prime I was when I became truly awestruck... So many wonderful projects!
I remember spending the better part of a day just reading through TFMaster's threads and seeing all the projects he'd worked on, and all the advice that he offered to others. He definitely had a love for Transformers, customizing, and for helping out others with their own ideas...
I know I never met him (only spoke to him in a few threads either here or at Seibertron.com), but I was saddened when I read about his early passing... It's a shame we won't see any new creations from the aptly named TFMaster. He and his skills are sincerely missed... Kitty Truck (AKA "Hilltopper") Gallery My Sale Thread My B/S/T Feedback Thread |

Granted, there were sections for kitbashing and customs on various boards (including here) but to find a forum that was dedicated to kitbashers was just the greatest thing ever. And I'd met quite a few of you there before either seeing you here, or seeing some of you come here or other places from Transtopia. So far as I'm concerned, TFMaster was responsible for bringing a lot of the TF kitbashers community together by giving us a place to meet and greet, and to show our abilities and successes (and failures, depending how some projects turned out--which made for great learning experiences and some wonderful "2.0's" ). I'm glad for Radicons--and, as well, Sector70--but Transtopia will always be that staple for me. |

I thought holler was something that is need to be settled on his side (like time?) before he gets back to me formally...
so I waited.
by the time I knew what holler means... he was already gone.
I felt bad not to have known him better. his kitbashes are top notch. |
