At this time, I thought I was a bit of an abomination, some late 20 year old who still collected toys.
Thane I ran across his Powermaster Prime. I was speechless! The fact that someone had the ingenuity and (pardon my french) the balls to do one was insane to me, and so impressive it made me seek out kitbashing. From that one custom, I have made some great friends, some great customers, and THE most fun work I have ever done, for fun and profit.
His passing hurt me, not just because we lost a huge resource of knowledge and expertise, but because eon the VERY first custom i ever did, I sent him a email asking him a question....and he answered it! The Noob that I was, asking a Customs Master a Noob question...and he answered it.
He was a fan first, and one of the greatest creative minds that I have ever had the pleasure to watch. From the bottom of my heart, God speed, Bill. You will always be missed...'Till All Are One! |

I was devising a way to use Rid Magnus as a Motor Master, D'oh! he beat me to it again, like 8 years ago I'm sure. Currently accepting commissions (click for previous works) |

He loved to talk toys and you could tell. I met up with him a few times and even have a few customs made by him. Most were actually just given to me as he had tired of them and didn't want payment. I know I have a black Strongarm he did and a purple Energon Galvatron. Also he gave me a Grimlock head sculpt that he had wanted to make into pins or magnets. He was a good guy and will be m ssed. I have a picture of me with his G1 Unicron custom and remember actually holding his MP Menasor. One custom of his that I always wondered if he finished was an Alternators Rhinox he was working on out of an Alt. Swindle. My Feedback |

Because he inspired so many people to be better at or to just start customizing, we see him in almost ever custom posted on these boards. The influence goes on from people he directly knew to the people they help ie when Plowking helped get Nemesis Predaking started, that's just one example of how Bill's spirit will survive and continue to live on in our customs Sale Thread:http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/items-...ml#post4296107 Feedback Thread:http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/junkion-exchange-feedback/149198-lucs.html Oregon Social Group Thread:http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/groups...cal-group.html |
