I'm a big fan of Metal Sonic, but am curious if this figure is any good. I see two listed on Amazon for about $30, and that sounds like a typical overblown Amazon price (even if it is 10 inches tall...)

I really hope it isn't like their 3-or-4 inch tall figures, which I can't even get to stand up.

While browsing around HLJ i find that they have plenty of military model kits to offer, from armored vehicles to infantry.

I wanna know which brand is well known, or at least recommend to me, as I only know Tamiya :(.

And can anyone mind to recap the scale of model kit ? I think I have forgotten. Which scale is larger ? 1/35 or 1/72 ?

Thank you for your time to click and read this. :D

Hey guys :)

I wanted to show a few things i found in a house that im doing some demo work in. It was kinda like a blast from the past while digging out boxes or junk and finding these little jems .

I am trying to figure out values for these if anyone can help me out. Me and my brother may be selling these off if they are worth selling. So if anyone can help with any information or values for these that would be a great help :) Thanks in advance for that :)

Ok on to the good stuff :)

First is a orginal Masters Of The Universe He-Man Battle Cat with his box. I believe he is complete and in awesome shape too. Paint Colors and toy and in near mint condition.. The box seen better days but still in nice shape. The window was so yellow and fell right off though lol. His 90 day warrenty was still in the box as well lol.

Then i found a Gi-Joe box for a Helecopter back pack. The backpack and figure were not in the box though BUT all the paper work and even the sticker sheets and bio card were in there OH and the figures Weapon was in there to along with mail away forms and checklist.. The box is great shape as well.

Then i found me a orginal Tanka Jeep in awesome shape. No idea what year it is but im almost positive i had one of these when i was a kid back in the late 70's

Ok and the topper of it all was a Sealed Tonka Truck that i was told was from the mid to early 70's. This sucker is still sealed in its brown box and pretty heavy. I thought it was awesome to find something so old still sealed in its orginal box.

... as much as I'd love to keep this under my hat in the off chance that this ends up being a limited release and I want to cut down on the number of people who might know about it, it's ludicrous to think that SOMEBODY isn't going to mention this eventually, so here goes.

Do you like high quality toys? How about Metal Gear Solid? Have you, like me, had a perpetual wet dream since roughly 1998 wishing that someone would make a Metal Gear Rex toy?

Ashley Wood (god bless that man) and Kojima have your back -

No word yet on release date, price, or if it'll be sold through Sideshow or just through 3A's online store as of yet.

From comparison shots the size will be somewhere around 15-17" tall, like the 3A World War Robot figures it'll likely be made from a combination of PVC, Cast Resin and ABS plastic, and the price will likely be in the range of $300-400.

Seriously the hell is the big deal with these things? I've seen 'em, I see what they do and all, but really...how did that become the big toy of the holiday season this year? Is it that kids get the "fun" of having a hamster without the biting and floor shitting?
Really glad I grew up the decade I grew up in.

The Craze is Back -Crazy Bones-

Was real surprised to be stocking these at work the other day. An all new series of Crazy...

Was real surprised to be stocking these at work the other day. An all new series of Crazy Bones...couldn't believe it.

I remembered when I was in little league, YEARS ago when these were getting big(ish). I remember after games and stuff we'd all get pack(s) of them, or split a pack or something like that. Going to Zany Brainy every once in a while and buying pack after pack hoping for that one special bone (Speedy of course being the most sought after). Remember having bought some, not finding what i want, but went back in for just 1 more pack...was when I got my Speedy. Hell I still have my box with the checklist on it and all of my bones in it.

And seeing them make a come back like this...it does me good, and now..I fear I'm gonna catch the craze again. Just bought my first few of the new ones (just got a five pack, not really sure the names of the ones I got, but I did get a pretty cool robot guy, and like this green guy with his arms crossed and a cool head design and face, and can see a few from stickers and the checklist I'd like to get myself).

Really like what they've done with them now though, painting in their faces and whatnot, they look really good.

So yeah, anyone else remember these/picking them up again?

A local shop several roads away from me has a St Barnardo's next to it, and I doubled-taked when I was sure I saw Skeletor in a baggy! I went back and looked in the window and saw it was the 2002 version, and also saw a mutant ninja turtle! I just couldn't resist! I only just had the money. I figured that the one on the far left bottom of pic 2 was an x-men figure of some sort, he was kinda familiar to me, and it took until i got home to remember the name Biker mice from Mars. Wasn't sure about the one on the far right of the bottom pic although it looked like a Gargoyle figure to me. (Only because I caught a few of the cartoons once!)

I was right about all three in pic 2but as still not sure of the exact title of the Beast figure, mine has a different belt and chest - but it's a gorgeous figure, beautiful sculpt and great articulation. I may have got this group for Skeletor and the turtle but I just can't keep my hands of the Beast figure! The biker mice one is kinda goofy (not sure exactly what year it's from) and the gargoyle is a claw climber one? (Minus the equipment)

Can help me out with when these figures came out or their official toy names, I.E. (Leader class Optimus Prime) - the full titles please. Especially the Beast figure as I think I've fallen head over hells with the sculpt.

Sorry if this has been asked before (pretty sure it has, but I searched and didn't find anything.) I know there are probably many more I forgot. Any help is greatly appreciated :)

I stumbled across the new 25th anniversary Voltron and made sure to scoop him up this time (I missed him last time till he was too expensive). Now I'm on a new Sentai binge that lead me to finally buy the last two Megazords I really wanted (Shogun and Zeo Megazords are on the way!). But now I find shows like Gaogaigar and I find myself wanting to check out more Sentai. I was wondering what you guys might recommend.

As I mentioned my wallet is tight even in the best of times. The most I could really spend on any robot is $100ish. Any ideas what I should go for? I'd like gestalts with articulation but I'm not too picky about that. I'd love to go for Gaogaigar but those figures are awefully expensive.
