I desperately wanted to improve onslaughts gimpy vestigial T-rex arms so pulled the arms off a deluxe movie bumblebee junker and used some small ball joints from an alternators deadend to mount them, i think he looks much better, and it works in bruticus mode too! just a little paint needed to finish him off!

I started collecting some choice MP figures a couple of years ago and now I can't seem to stop myself. Soundwave and the Hasbro MP10 are my newest additions (with Soundwave's other recordicons on the way). Honestly, I'm not sure which I prefer but they're both easily the best figures I've ever seen in my life. My son absolutely loves Prime and is always asking to play with him (which I let him with some supervision). I've got Prowl on pre-order and I think my son's head might explode when he realises he'll fit IN Prime's trailer. Ahh, it's the simple things that impress. :)

Anyway, I have a bit of an issue with my recent Soundwave figure though and wondered if it's common and/or if anyone's found a fix for it? When in alt mode, his chest never properly ejects. The spring is pretty weak and it looks like its an issue with the mold becoming compressed against the sides of the perspex chest piece. In robot mode, it ejects fine.

Has anyone had this issue and are there any tips on how to fix it? I thought about putting a VERY light amount of some kind of lubricant but I don't know enough about what might be suitable for plastics. Any other ideas?

I even have the autobot... I really like the fan mode combination of ROTF Mindwipe and Skystalker. I even have the autobot repaint with matching skystalker repaint. I passed on the Ehobby Dreading/Smokescreen repaint though.

Well when the Asia exclusive scout class Laserbeak repaint came out I immediately saw a need for Blue ROTF Dreadwing. He can be a Galaxy Force Soundwave. And even more importantly I can shove Laserbeak into his chest like a Soundwave.


Well I picked up the Ehobby set in a trade while on vacation in Vancouver and immediately took some pics. I swapped the recent Voyager FOC SW head on to Dreadwing. Sorry for the mediocre pics. I only had a flashlight, DSLR, and a white sheet of paper to work with.






I luckily found a junker Cybertron Soundwave at a nearby mall when I did the trade. So I can compare the two plane Soundwaves and show you my inspiration.






The FOC SW head fits but sits a bit high on the neck post.



Here is my Soundwave combined with Laserbeak stored in the chest.



Also I use Ehobby Smokscreen as Rumble and use the hook weapons as pile drivers.

The woman is being treated for serious injuries to her leg.

The song starts at around the 4:15 mark and Oh mayn! Raocow warning! I'd link to the other place where I heard it but there are a ton of Mega Man romhacks that qzecwx has played and I don't feel like going through them all. Since I know that Raocow isn't for everybody. But it seems like it'd be a super recognizable song so maybe just stick with it for thirty seconds if you do hate Raocow. Finally bit on aftermarket add ons and ordered the CrazyDevy waist/thigh piece for Encore Devestator.

Recently shipped my POL from BBTS and have finally made my way thru everything that was shipped(Sideswipe-Fort Max + odds and ends) and got around to trying the waist/thigh section and its about worthless. Fit and finish looks and feels shitty as well as joints are not very tight as well. I also verified that the Encore version was indeed the one I ordered and was billed for as well.

Mixmaster flat out falls out and Scrapper is impossible to get in correctly.

Now, does someone have pics of the Encore thigh piece with a "k" on the end of the part number vs. the original piece? Could you post the pics if u have them please?

Also for other folks that have bought them(Encore version), does the package have the "k" after the part number on top of the package?

Trying to figure out if CrazyDevy pieces are shoddy(it looks bad period) or it will work and I ended up with the wrong one?

Either way for $30+ it should give an appearance of being much nicer than it is in regards to fit and finish especially where molds/pieces come together........
