So I have a left arm for Generations Wheeljack that won't stay on/the ball won't go into the socket. Most of the time it just sits there, hanging on his arm loosely. Any ideas for what I should do?
Question: is it difficult to get the cup back on the ball/is there too much pressure causing the cup to come off the ball?
Yes for the former question. Either that or there's an inadequate amount of space on my arm to where the ball won't go.
OK, so the culprit is likely one of two things: 1. flash on either the ball or in the cup. 2. a bloated or warped ball. If it's #1 trim the flash with an xacto knife and try to fit. If it's #2 I'd recommend sanding the ball down. Sand a bit, test fit, rather, rinse, repeat until it fits. As for sand paper, I recommend https://www.google.com/shopping/pro...374.3&ei=R_vJU-U9hrHIBNS8gfgH&ved=0CGIQpiswAA It's cheap and you get multiple grits. If you shave or sand too much you can use either super glue or Future to build the ball back up to fit.
