Customs: Stickers Adhere to Paint?

    Got a TF Prime Leo Prime and am not digging the yellow Arms Micron. I was thinking about painting him a bit, but I may want to use some of the stickers that came with him. Will the stickers adhere as well to the paint as they do to straight plastic? I'm using Testors Model Masters Acrylics.
