Does anyone have a link for that Autobot City, Ark, and Char diorama? The one that took up an entire room?
Reminded of that Autobot City that one guy built long ago with many 2x4's painted yellow. He had Fort Max, Metroplex , all of them connected to it. Had traffic ways, bridges, rivers, fields for Dinobots ... man that thing was awesome It was set up in his attic.
Thanks TSFC, but I easily found the one KA is working on. I'm looking for the one that Chaos Muffin just mentioned.
ZOMBIE Thread! I am looking for these pictures also. I remember seeing them around 1999-2000, can't find any mention of them since. Does anyone have them or know where I can see them? It was probably the best Autobot City I've ever seen.
Wow your thread necromancy is extremely powerful. This one died almost 6 years ago. That said I wouldn't mind seeing this. Huh, I just realized this thread came out before any of the live action movies.
A: At first, I thought you might be talking about Thunderchild Maximus' "Omicron Complex", which he used in his photocomics, a few years back, but the descriptions sound a little different. Omicron Complex: Weapons of Mass Destruction: Part 1 [page 1]
That is nice, but it's not the one I remember. There were only a few pictures, but it was a full scale Autobot City (very close to the movie version) with places for Metroplex and Fort Max built-in. There was also a section with the Ark and Mount St. Hillary. Then in another part of the attic was Chaar. And the entire thing was populated by G1 figures only since it was late '90's. I don't remember seeing any Beast Wars but I do remember a Victory Saber standing in front of the whole thing. It was positively massive. I went searching through the archives to see if I could find any previous mention of it, Chaos Muffin was the only one describing exactly what I remember. I figured I might as well resurrect rather than start over
Bumping this in case anyone has any new information, I'd really like to find someone with these pictures on their hard drives because I know they are long since gone from the net.
I was just talking about that attic setup with some friends, and my Google search sent me right back to my Home Page. All I can remember is that the dude's screen name (lol screen name) was Trypticon(numbers) or something like that... ~Z Edit: I found more information leading me to this: http://www.transmy.com/forum/collections-showcase/trypticon-nl-pix-updated!!/ I remembered that he was outside of the USA; turns out he's from the Netherlands. Anyone here know him? Edit: I came across http://www.godertwalter.com/trypticon/ I think this is where his page once was. It's a damn shame if those awesome pics are gone forever.
NOOOOOOOO!!!! At least you got a lot further than I did in my searches. I guess our only hope is if someone saved them to their hard drive.
They have been found! Thanks to DoubleClouder we now can finally see this awesomeness again! And the original page here. Unfortunately some of the pictures are missing so there is only one of Chaar, but this is better than nothing. I honestly thought I would never see these again.
Wow. The size if nothing else is utterly impressive. Not to mention it works with those figures so well
With a little bit of Google-fu and some new information based on DoubleClouder's discovery, I have been able to uncover the rest of the pictures. And here are the rest of Chaar: The original post with Trypticon.nl's new collection pics can be found here. All the diorama pictures are at the bottom of the post.
