    Nice Star Trek renders.

If I got the time I might try and grab a screenshot or two.

In the meantime here's a cover recreation using MP10 and MP13!

I also have a G1 3D viewmaster and am trying to take photos of the reels. So far they've been very miss rather then hit. Once I can consistly take better pictures through the viewfinder I'll try some anaglyphs.

I went and looked at the screengrabs here at TFW, and they seem kinda small. If I convert any old grabs to 3D I'll have to capture them myself.

    Here's a few more!

A shot of the interior of my 1:18 Lamorgini Reventon, it's alright I guess.

One of the Kotobukiya Bishoujo Supergirl, the cape gave me real trouble and still isn't right. Need to reshoot some of these.

This one came out much better than the Reventon picture, not even sure why.

Heh, back when I had a mind to buy loads of little Lego Spartans and recreate the film 300. Got up to... 3. 1% is a good success rate right? Thats at least a pass according to UK GCSE standards... *guffaw*

I think I took this before all the QC problems were apparent about this guy, now he's 'safely' boxed away. Probably won't stop him disintegrating in secret though. :/

Curious, I found this on my phone. I remember taking it ages ago and then processing it, but can't find any evidence if it except for the final pic. Hmm. Quite pleased how it turned out though as the figures are really small.

Well, I dug out my glasses, and it was well worth it. (BTW, if anyone's looking for some, check your local Dollar Tree. I bought a pair, rugged plastic construction that fits over regular glasses. A buck.)

Now, I must say, that all of them look really nice, but the humanoid pics (figures) don't work quite as well as the vehicles do.

The Tumbler, specifically, reeeeeally stands out. I mean that both literally and figuratively. Impressive work on that one. Hot damn.

After weeks trying with my solid 3D glasses (from Toy Story 3), I thought I was doing something wrong.

Now, with some old-school red'n'blue paper ones, I can enjoy this thread like I'm meant to.

    Superb work, all over.

tikgnat - I reckon your Cyberverse one on p1 and the Prime / Soundwave one have got to be the best.

I'll have a go at following your tutorial, see what happens.

Righty, here's a couple of the 3D pictures from the 80's 3D Viewmaster, kinda low res, I had to take these with my camera through the Viewmaster so in the actual photo the image is very small. Any other way I can digitise these? I thought about scanning the reels themselves at stupid high resolution but the frames might not show up as they need to be backlit.

Lots of colour saturation on this one because the light source I was using was an indoor bulb, and while it appears normal to the naked eye when I photograph it, it looks all orange. Boo! Like I said, gotta work out a better method of capturing these.

And a nice picture of 'Vintage' Star Wars Aayla Secura riding a 1:18 Maisto Ducati. I've been wanting to put some pics of this figure (which is really nice for a 3 3/4'' figure, why couldn't all Star Wars figures be like this to begin with?) but I never put them up because frankly, they looked like shit. This one I did a google search for 'girl on motorbike' and just recreated the image I liked as best I could.

That actually went on for many issues. Enough for me to complete the skeleton and the skin shell that went over it.

After a while they ran out of photographed 3d models. At that point they began using hand-drawn 3d images. Which were actually top notch.

Fun fact: these were drawn by Steve White, the very same Steve White who would later become editor of Titan's Transformers comic.

I don't suppose you have tose old issues? I'd love to see scans of the Dinosaur Anaglyph pictures.

Went to the RAF museum today for a little bit, so I took some shots. Took lots of shots actually, but a lot of them aren't usable because the lighting in the hangers is quite murky and dim. These ones turned out alright though.

US Flying Fortress, trying to take a picture to show HOW massive the wings are, but didn't notice the man walking along so he's in one position with the left eye and in another in the right eye. Whups.

Tornado, a spectacular looking plane. Zounds.

My favourite jet in the world, the Phantom F4. Don't ask me why it just is.

Dunno what this plane is called, shoulda paid more attention eh?

Next time I go I'll have to take better pictures, lighting pending. Maybe in the summer.

Encore Fort Max, G1 Metroplex, Kabaya Fort Max, all nestled together to create a mahoosive Autobot City Diorama... zounds. Did the picture in black and white because it works better then all the different shades of colour.
