just wondering

how do i make objects in shapeways, does it cost money, and do i need my own rendering software?

I already answered this in your first thread of the same name, so here it is again.

1. With a computer program that can output a STL file. Sketchup and some others are free (or close to it). The ones I use are RHINO and Solidworks (expensive, especially the latter)
2. Yes, but doesn't everything?
3. no need for a rendering program. You are wanting to print it, not make it look "purdy" in the computer. Again, all you need is something that can save or convert it to a STL file.
