When can you apply clear coat?

I have a resin statue of optimus prime. I used a grey base coat, allowed 24hrs, then painted it using Model Mayhem Custom Lacquer paints. I still have to add in some painted details, the yellow and blue eyes etc..but wondering how long after I've sprayed can I apply a clear coat? Is there any time restrictions?

I usually try giving it a few days (2-3) before sealing my customs.

Every paint is different, so be sure to read the instructions. Also make sure you are using a clear coat that is meant to go over your lacquers.
