Scale to use for HFTD Voyager Prime?

Hey guys, I'm in the planning process for creating a Power-Up Prime. This one, however, will be using the HFTD Voyager Prime as a base. I have most of the pieces I need ready except for an SR-71 model kit because I don't know which scale to choose. Im going for a bit more bulky than most other Power-Up Prime customs so even if the scale seems to be on the larger side, it would be perfect. If anyone could help me out, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Here's the pic I'm using for scale reference:

Thanks man! Now I'll just look to find an SR-71 model that size...
BTW, I'm open to any suggestions people have for this custom too...

I have researched this quite a lot and found some useful information on these boards.
First I would suggest you take a look at grinkrystal's custom power up prime, he is a member on these boards who does amazing customs. You might get some hints from looking at his work.
From my research, I found that 1/72 will fit quite well for the HFTD voyager prime. The Prime figure itself might be 1/45 in scale but a 1/45 model blackbird kit might be a bit big.
You will need to cut the model up to fit but it should be in scale.
Also, a many people who have tackled this custom use Star wars pod racers turbines for the turbine parts on Power Up prime. Just a suggestion if you havent already thought about it.

Good luck and we look forward to your finished product!

Thanks man! I recently came across a 1:44 scale model and realized it was too big for the voyager prime. Funny you mention grinkrystal...as a matter of fact, looking through some of grinkrystal's customs was what pushed me into trying this project out myself.
