Hi. On these boards, Sketchup would be handled by either me (see my Fan Art thread) or Rodentus Prime (he makes/made transformer models). A few others have touched the software, but none that i know of who have used the software for much more.

If i were you, i'd contact Rodentus Prime, as he has good models existing of many G1 characters.

As for me personally, i'd give some excuse about being busy or something, but truth be told i'm just not entirely interested. I've kept up with your threads and at this point in your project, it's just not caught my interest yet.

Guess what? More than two people use Sketchup. Crazy, I know.

I'm getting decent at it. What do you need done? Simple things I may do for fun, but time is money. I'm not going to build you an army for free if that's what you're looking for.

It might be a good idea to tell people what you want them for. Do you want to commission them to design a toy? Do you want them to make models for your series?

:lol  Thats why I said there were others, I just didn't know them by name off the top of my head.

Noise Maker, I'm guessing he wants something made for animation. So basically just something that resembles a character, but without the engineering to make it actually feasible.

Soundwavedredd, I think Noise Maker is right. Telling people what you want would help draw more attention.

Wow, that thread...I love the "I'll make Autobot_Burnout seem friendly and generous by comparison" comment. Priceless.

I gotta say, though, that is a new low. Not to spread the hate to this thread, but...I can't stop laughing at the sheer ridiculousness of it...:lol

    *ahem*

    Yeah, I'm outta this thread.

Then you should have said as much in the first post. You need to forget this idea that people will just willingly help you with stuff potentially involving the investment of a large portion of their own time and work without actually knowing what it is you want them to do.

You come off as very demanding and your posts are both vague and terse. You're not presenting yourself in the most positive of lights, which will obviously affect how people receive you.

You mean the $10 you already put forward for the rather intensive list of customs (including a full-on combiner) along with promising an I.O.U. to pay back the customizers? You're beginning to sound like the infamous Pat Lee.

EDIT: Looks like the exact thread where you said that is missing, but unfortunately for you it was quoted before that could happen:

Alright, I'll jump back in this thread, if only for more laughs.

Soundwavedredd, I think you seriously need to rethink your sense of time. I know that sounds harsh, but hear me out. A lot of us on here have spent years building up a reputation, and a good one at that hopefully. Best just to build up your reputation as you go along. Look at MegaMoonMan's sig, he hates on Bronies, but you can't shut him up because he's freaking MegaMoonMan. You don't need justification when you're MegaMoonMan. A new guy pops up and starts dissing Bronies, you can bet we'll all react a lot differently.

The thing about your forum reputation is that one screw up can haunt you badly, and the fact that one post by Burnout turned both MMM and I away from this thread clearly illustrates this. Burnout's not the type of guy to be out trying to hurt people, he's a nice guy most days of the week, and I'm sure MMM gives people allowances for past errors. I think you've shown that even the best of people on a forum will get you nothing if your reputation gets tarnished too badly.

Ultimately all I see is someone new asking for a lot, giving almost no information and with no reputation, and frankly that doesn't inspire confidence in me. I hate to be "that guy", the one that makes long winded posts lecturing others, but frankly I've seen Burnout and Aernaroth try it on you, I figure third time's the charm.

For the record, you can definitely consider me, out.

$10 for "customs" :lol  What are you offering for a digital model, $1.50?

I remember this kid and his "gimme" requests now - I should have just looked at his sig.

Did you seriously just offer to pay someone a measly $3.50 to build you a digital model? Is that per model or to cover all five that you want? I don't know what the going rate is but I suspect that either option is not a good/fair deal for anyone doing the models.

Also if you've still only got $10 in the bank, even at only the extremely unlikely price of $3.50 per model that's still not enough to cover all five that you want.
