Is it more cost effective to buy rattlers in some cases? For example to spray larger surface areas like priming a figure a single color. I have just started out using an airbrush but find myself going back to spray cans when spraying base colors for larger figures such as leaders. I will start a new custom soon (ROTF LC Optimus) and would like a little advice in going about the base spraying for this figure. Thank you for reading and any advice is appreciated. |

Spray cans (even quality ones) are relatively cheap, but you can't really mix colors to get exact colors you want. Airbrush sets can get a little pricey, but the paints are fairly cheap and you can mix primary colors to make your own colors that might not be available in the spray can variety.
