While brainstorming uses for the device I thought it would a cool idea to be able to sell them... and then I wondered if that kind of thing is legal. Is selling custom mod toys legal? Like, if this idea actually turned out to be popular would Hasbro take action against me? |

Hasbro never went after them. ![]() My Collection / My Feedback / Sales/Trades / Want List / Avatars / Custom Requests LOOKING FOR UNITED HOT ROD LOOSE! |

I didn't really get what it is that you are doing here. Will Hasbro come after you? Probably not. You're not Igear. Is it legal? No, technically it would be IP theft or something. ![]() My Collection / My Feedback / Sales/Trades / Want List / Avatars / Custom Requests LOOKING FOR UNITED HOT ROD LOOSE! | |

They'd remain the transforming G1 toys, but instead of being a useless key chain they'd actually have a purpose. What that purpose is I don't want to say right now, because I'm still working on the logistics of the project. If the prototype I'm working on is successful, it would be cool to actually put these up for sale. I suppose I could just put them on Ebay or Etsy and not really have anything to worry about. |
