I use "Insta-Cure + Gap Filling Glue". Started using this for my Banshee Blades. I was worried the glue I would use would break down after awhile with the blades. This thing however is amazing! I glued together some ruby blades for Cybcon and threw them in a bag, after a couple hours of it setting. When I got my hotel several hours later, the blades had gone bent, but the parts remained stuck together thanks to the glue. I think any other glue would of made it come apart. I use to use two part expoxy glue, but Insta-Cure is leagues better, in my opinion.

for smaller details stuff...best "super" glue I've used. bond lasts forever, they have 2 types, the other is purple, runs thicker and takes longer to dry (I think)

also great for zap-a-gap is the kicker. a little jot of this stuff and the glue instantly dries. comes with spray pump. careful not to get this on your skin, and beware of it's stink.

For heavier stuff I use Devcon, easy to get and when dry, stronger than the plastic it's bound to.

    The BEST super glue

I have all these different brand I was told work or are strong. But I've very rare from any super or Poly Cement that didn't eventually break.

Guys? What's the best glues to use that will dry so it can take some stress or movement?

Yep, lock tite super glue is good. I also like the actual Super Glue brand gel kind.

For stronger stuff I have good luck with JB Weld as long it's got a rough surface to stick to.

Loctite liquid. It's perfect for styrene work and on basic plastics. Bonds almost instantly, so you need to know exactly where you're gluing.
I tried a few others like Gorilla, JB Weld, Testors styrene glue and Zap-a-Gap, but ended up going exclusively with Loctite pro-strength liquid.

I use Krazy Glue ( Kragle ) for just regular plastic on plastic gluing. For something with a stronger grip on larger areas, I use Lock Tite Epoxy Putty. It's strong and you can use it to fill in surfaces and even sand it down smooth. It's really only good for extreme bashing though. For more casual gluing, stick to Krazy Glue.

So, my son broke a smoke stack off of my Hasbro MP-10 quite a while ago. It's been eating at me for months-- I've tried Superglue and Loctite, neither of which worked. The plastic used for the chrome is weird and doesn't take glue well, not to mention it's barely 3/16 of an inch across.

Am I screwed here? I read on an ancient forum about someone using this stuff: System Three 1000K90 5 Minute Quick Cure Epoxy, but it's kind of expensive, and I feel like this weird plastic used for the chrome is gonna end up being impossible to fix.

Right now I'm debating on dropping the money on this epoxy, or just using it to go toward the 2nd run of the MP-10 KO.

    Any thoughts?

Did you try Krazy Glue? It's better than Super glue by a mile. I use the brush on kind.

I tried several different brands-- I don't think I tried Krazy Glue. I always thought Krazy Glue was pretty much Super Glue under a different name.

I've merged the super glue thread with this one, for discussion and resourcing purposes.

By all means, please continue to post your suggestions. This is something that still needs updating on my end as well. Just been busy with other stuff and things. :)
