I wanna know, could RTS Jazz be made into a viper defender altmode? EDIT; not really, the shapes aren't quite compatible, So, how difficult would it be to create a reasonably good, clean looking (i.e., no bumpy "added sculpt here" approximation of the defender from a TF? using the viper three spoke wheels instead of the TF's originals? the rear window ports aren't necessary to me, but the snake like look is, the viper side vents are appreciated, but if impractical a more aggressive look can compensate. And it can be shinier or a 'pseudo silver snake scale" paintjob, if you want to do one. P.S. Anybody tried a "oo7's db5" from TFA freeway jazz?
thats a tough one, since the "snake like" look are very subtle curves that all blend together a certain way.the ports you're tlaking about is actually an easier thing to do. anouther thing that would throw off the look is that Jazz is thicker in the car mode (from beltline to bottom, beltline being under the windows). the viper and defender are thinner through the whole car (Like the hood area) and that makes the car look longer. if you could lower the glass portion down it might cheat it a bit. I think it'd be difficult, but also "reasonbly looking" is subjective. the area around the doors and the rims could be done. if you're serious about trying, i'd recomend finding a 1/32 viper car model and doing some re-shelling (combination of original and model car) Randy!
Any recommendations on what figure to do a deluxe class viper defender TF custom from? I don't like side burn's kibble heavy transformation, and see RTS jazz is the wrong shape to be as functional as I thought... ideas?
hmm, does anyone have any ideas on this? I've had a couple suggestions about using TFP KO as the base, but was curious if anyone had any better options... maybe.
