Heres a rehash of Preceptor as a desert Hopper. Theres no texture on preceptors right foot because its behind a rock. I just wanted to draw it so i and you could see it from both angles. Also i Started thinking, that based on the list Alty posted the Maximals needed some heavy guns so i came up with Torca, who isnt a fuzor, id say hes just and Alpha Rattle Back.

 

Wanted to fix some things esthetically wrong with him and show a transformation sequence.

 

Now that there seems to be alot of completed designs, ive noticed there is very little if any writing done so far. I am no award winning writer, but i figured i give it a shot, so that we can start getting some sequentials out of this. But before i do any writing i want to get some opinions on some ideas i had. Firstly anyone object tyo having optimus primal maybe dieing in battle or somethign along that line? And haveing Rattlerox or Rattrap taking over leadership?

Definetly Cheetor as the next prime if not "feral major". im currently writing back story's for all my designs, just to flesh them out a bit more - and fill in the gap per say. i do have some rough ideas written down for example: "Feral major" has his own small assault team consisting of Depth charge,Sunburn and Frostbyte and Tygertron (aka. tigertron).

 

Just working on the writing here and i was wondering what everyone had collectively agreed upon as the main characters for both sides. Heres what i was thinking.
Maximals- Optimus Primal
Rattlerox
Poggletrap
Gryketor/Feral Prime

Predicons- Toratron
Terrorsaur
Dynobot (obviously he switches side, like in the show)
Scrofanok
Retrax (Shameless Plug!)
Spindulas
Injector (only to replace terrorsaur's comedic presence)
Ive been writting with these characters in mind and also used the similar plot device of the stasis pods to introduce more characters

 

ill have to agree with Alty in nameing the new characters. Cheetors a tough one to nail down, but im found of feral major or feral prime. and as for Dinobot im leaning towards something along the lines of Cryobot.

One note though, my grammar isnt every good so unless it is completely destroying the flow, keep that critique to a minimum.

not bad. but it was decided early on that the future earth will have very scarce energon resources, which will allow the characters to remain in robot mode more often.

 

For my first defense, i didnt know that there was not suppose to be much energon. Also,I thought they stayed in beast mode because there was to much energon... having little energon would have them not needed to stay in beast mode, or not needing a beast mode at all. Also what point would there be to stay on earth for the maximals? And even if they couldnt repair the Axalon why would they fight? Megatrons group is (mostly) skilled killers, and Optimus prime's group is just a couple of explorers. If theres no threat for Megatron to get energon to raise an army theres not really any reason for the Maximals stop him from doing anythings. The human race is extinct and he cant alter the outcome of the G1 war because it already happened. I am not trying to be difficult, iam just letting you know what i was thinking when i was writting. In order to keep the beast modes less gimmicky, we could always just make the need to stay in beast mode more prominent.

And these points you mentioned are all good. These problems should be collaborated upon by all of us i think so we can get a decent idea on where this story is going. From what i remember it was supposed to be a continuation of whats come before. i may be proven wrong on that fact but i still think we should all group together ideas and look at whats been discussed already, after some much needed sleep i might just go find everything on the old thread in regards to story and post a summary on here.

The human race is extinct in the context of the 'Future is Wild' program. How would a human race protected by the Autobots prosper in 200 million years? Would they even be considered human anymore? 200 million years worth of improvements to our modern-day technology... what would that yield? A more refined and complete *-Master process (* Head, Target, Power), in which Transformers and humans are almost indistinguishable? I find that intriguing. This could also help to explain why the Transformers have shrunk considerably in size over the aeons, from what we see in the Great War to those taking part in the Beast Wars.

Hello guys, quite some time since I've seen this thing around the boards again. I'm glad it's back, it certainly has a lot of potential. I see you've taken my attributes to some characters up in the list too Altitron. I'd love to help you guys, Beast Wars was the show that got me into Transformers after all. But I don't think I still got the drawings of the ganneth wale and the B'Bakoori on my pc, so I'll redraw the B'Bakoori some time when i'm not that bussy anymore. But could someone give me some tips on drawing beast-formers then please, it's obvious I'm not that good as all of you.

And Robcbh, as I'm more of a writer(check the fanfiction for one of my stories for references) I'd be glad to help you with some ideas of second opinions(I'm too bussy now to help you write), so pm me for my MSN.
