_jazz_00 | supersquads got you again!
With a character I'd design, I want to make sure everyone gets a chance to pick a character to design that they want. |

I figured that this particular thread would be used to collect finished character designs, mock covers, scripts, and other reference media for the project, and little else. I'm not sure I would be so quick as to call the inital thread 'closed', since that is where we may conduct our discussion and prevent this thread from clogging up with 100+ pages of posts intermittent with artistic contribution. Once this difference is realized, I'd suggest deleting all these conversational, chit chat posts to maintain a coherent and streamlined collection of project work.
And yes, S-U-P-E-R-Q-U-A-D 7 (I'm looking at you, Jazz_00), I will do what I can to collect and post the information you requested. I have not been around much recently because my wife's family flew in from the States last week and will be here for another. See you then.
And by the way, this project is over a year old. If someone wants to design a character and they haven't done so by now, shame on them. I say have at it, my friend.

- Alty | The main reason I closed it is that it's gotten to the point to where it's an organizational nightmare. I did add the link to the first post in this thread, that way anyone who's involved doesn't have to go hunting for it every time.
I'd also recommend the following: - Only attaching the image, as posting it in line in the post makes this thread a lot longer, thus making the user interface less user-friendly (i.e. scrolling).
- Making a project thread of ANY work, then hyperlinking them to this thread. Alty, you're doing this well, btw (major props).
- Doing what we can to keep this thread a bit more streamlined. The previous thread DOES need to be cleaned, but guess who gets the job of that?
750+ posts is quite a bit; I don't want the workload doubled . - I already posted the comment about the list of finished/claimed/unclaimed characters, etc. I think that would really help.
- Cross posting the actual story in "Fan Fiction", then linking to this thread.
As always, please discuss and offer suggestions. I'd just like to reiterate that I'd like to see this "reboot" of sorts really take this project sky high |

I also removed the inline posting of images so that it is a bit more user-friendly.
I will be posting an update to Airazor VS Terrorsoar sometime this weekend.

These are the only pieces of his that I can resource right now because of the lack of image attachments/removal of images from his site: |

- Alty | Again, great work man; it's much appreciated
I've also went through and organized the list. You'll find that the character list is now alphabetized and in list format for additional ease of browsing. We'll further refine the list as we find out what pending details and such are waiting. I'd like for those who have committed to work already to show some sign (such as posting in this thread) of update, even it's a simple "I'm still working on it" type of post. Hopefully, some of the artists who have already made commitments will chime back in.
With the designs reaching their final stages, once we get a "yay" or "nay" from the artists in the pending list, things will be reopened for ANY Radicon to jump in to finish up some of this work. Also, once stories are developed, we can then move on to sequentials. A few general ideas I've had so far: - Smaller, character-focused stories, much like the Transformers: Mosaic project.
- Shorter stories that have overarching events.
- Variety in art styles.
Of course, that list of ideas isn't exhaustive. Feel free to discuss! Go, Radicons! |
