Sentinel Prime leg upgrade - help?

One day - when I have the materials - I want to do a little "upgrade" for TFA Sentinel Prime's toy in order to give him show-accurate legs. People who've seen the toy know that he's, well... stumpy. And while they tried to capture the look of the legs, it didn't turn out so great.

UPDATE: I have decided on legs as shown in next post. Also, please do not post things like "but it can't transform" - From the beginning, I said this upgrade was for his robot mode only, so I'm fully aware of this.

Still no posts. Well, I found proper legs now...

MAYBE a little taller than he should be, but otherwise it still works. Now I just need to ask: What should I use to add shape to the legs? What kind of clay/putty is best used for the sleekness of his design? Something that can be painted.

And if anyone knows the exact shade of blue to use (preferably the shade used on the toy), step up and help me out.

That's cool and all, by now he can't transform since he's got Cyclonus' legs.

Are you going to make kibble to go on the legs so that he can retain his alt mode?

Nope - These are just legs that are attached for robot mode. This (to me) seems like the only way to make him show accurate. :x
