Recommended Dremel Tool

Hey, I am in the market for my first Dremel Rotary Tool. What model and/or accessories do you recommend? I know i want to get a corded one for Sanding and Cutting. I originally was thinking about getting the Dremel Stylus, but now that I think about it, I think i should get a standard one that I can use for a few years until i get better. What do you guys think?

I have a battery powered craftsman rotary tool that has served its purpose for over ten years now, but I'll probably be getting a Dremel 400 or 300, they go to up 35000 rpm and have more than just two settings for speed.

I say get a Dremel Stylus. It's slightly pricier but it has served me very well.

Dremel Stylus--I got one a while back at Target for about $60-something on sale (last one they had). Hasn't failed me yet and I've used it on customs, home repairs, and everything else you can think of.

Does the Dremel Stylus come corded? If not, how's the battery life and recharge rate?

the stylus battery life is weak. I prefer the larger cordless one. you'll get twice as much batt. life. each charge.

Ah, FR, what larger cordless one?

I personally use the Stylus, don't think i'll need anything bigger unless i start renovating or something. Works perfectly fine for customs.

Anyways, i just keep the stand/charger close by, and stick it back in there whenever i'm not using it.

As a warning, the stylus, afaik, doesn't come with any cutting discs, i ended up buying a separate accessory set just for the cutting discs and mandrels.
Ah yeah, i'm back, (been for a few days now) and i haz awesome haul posted in Toyark! Check it out... If you dare...

And, I finished my first comic strip!

This is the one I use. for heavy duty jobs and long time usage it does circles around my stylus (which is also neat for minor stuff) but typically, I am using this guy 90% of the time.

Ah, i see. Although, i still prefer the grip on the stylus over the others.
