The Custom Gobot Thread

Since Gobots still carry the stigma of being grossly inferior to Transformers, I felt it was necessary to start a thread dedicated to bringing back the "red-headed step children" of transforming robots in a totally new and positive light.

I feel that Gobot customs will help enhance the praise and appreciation for old toys and characters, since they've always been more of a niche than anything.

We can use this thread to discuss characters and designs as well as the sharing of ideas that can be implemented for Gobot customs and kitbashes.

TFU is a great resource for Gobots toy info:
Gobots Archive - Alphabetical Index - www.tfu.info

~

As for projects, I've already worked on and completed:
Gobots Cy-Kill (MISSION COMPRETE)
Classics 2.0/Universe Gobot Crasher
Gobot Waterwalk (Finalized)

I'm currently working (or have at least started work) on the following:
Gobots Screw Head (WIP)
Crazy Choo-Choo: Gobots Loco (WIP)
Gobots Leader-1 (WIP)
Gobots Pathfinder (WIP)

~

I also found some very cool Gobot artwork (source of the attached pics below):

I've always wanted to see an update to Puzzler. That would be nice. I might even tackle this myself after a few projects are completed.

I'd like to make a Slicks using the Mirage mold: http://www.tfu.info/Gobots/Renegades/Slicks/slicks.htm

Waterwalk is definitely interesting and I've already thought of figures and parts to use.

Cop-Tur is begging to get done.

The cartoon was inferior to the TF cartoon. The toys were awesome! I used Animated Oilslick for Cykill and Universe Blades for Coptur. I have an idea for an updated Scooter.

YES! I did that but I didn't glue it. He does look kind of cool that way.

For everyone that's done a Gobot custom, please provide links to those threads and/or galleries. I'd like to use this thread as a little index of everything that's been done in Radicons.
