Got into the loop of the china distribution of these toys and just got Scavenger(s) and Soundwave in the mail with more on the way soon. The extra Scavenger I got is broken and I will have to do some fixing but i digress. I am sure these will all be just repaints but I am not sure what to do with the extra scavenger and that's what the post is mainly for. Should I make a G1 green counter part, battle damaged? I am all ears. On a side note, I like Scavenger and if all the other constructicons are as unique and cool as him he will be my favorite transformer ever.
Well I don't have any ideas for ya, but I know that you'll think of something. Its only a matter of time of what pops into your head.
LOL Well just those two ideas so far but I do think that both of their buckets are backwards. looked at all the videos and it is the same way. Doesn't look right to me, the way it is now he wouldn't even be able to dump the dirt.
one thing i cant understand no matter how much i search n search but i cant find any ROTF Scavengers!(if thats what hes called) Well imo you should do a G1 Repaint i think it would be awsome to see him in G1 colors and maybe even a G1 Head resculpt or........you could give it to me... lol

I got a 3 Barricades/ 2 Starscreams about an hour ago (and one other I'm "not to talk about" muahaha) I have more on their way from a board member also.China's customs are rough, my packages usually sit there a week ;O I wouldn't auction these if I were you, general public still has no idea who they are...
so how did you get a hold of these? I would love to do some customs with these as well but don't know where to get some?
LOL SO I think a G1 version is in order. Well ebay will probably be ypur best bet now but be prepared to empty ypur wallet. LOL Probably the same person(s) too. I passed on barricade and starscream for now but there are plenty more I am super excited about. China wasn't to bad to me, just depends how they package them, mine breeze through customs for whatever reason. I am going to be holding off any auctions for a while, I will in the mean time secretly hoard and customize them all until I see the cues then....bam! muahaha lol I had to do some things I am not very proud of and will never live down for the rest of my life. Your easiest bet will be ebay right now when they get posted up.
Wait, by Barricade do you guys mean the Audi R8 figure? If so, then I'll need to pick him up, I like Barricade. And Soundwave... And Rampage... And most of the movie figures of both films... God, I'm never gonna be able to afford that BotCon 08 Megatron I want so badly...
yes,. the audi. Starscream's my favorite by far, barricade comes in a close second, the "mech-alive" feature is really cool.
Hey I noticed that Soundwave lacks any sort of mech alive feature. Is that cause he is like how the protoforms were last movie. Earlier release figures meant to hype? I will need to look up barricades features, I dont like the character that much but the audi is just to sexy.
not sure. I think there's a small gimmick to soundwave, you'll need to play around with it, you might find it. I know he's a triple-changer, that could be all it is also. Barricades' got 2 buttons on his front spoiler, the 1st one pops the wheels inwards, the 2nd one pops the chest down. Starscreams got gears that spin on his chest...

Yeah definitely no mech alive, just the triple change. Still cool as hell in my books. I will have to look at the others to see if I will get them but one that is definitely coming in multiples is sideswipe, hes a bad ass and his brother will be too. Might be just me as I like things that are out of the ordinary. His excavator mode is the coolest though and if I do get a set just for my self I see them in alt mode more than anything unless that damn transformation of devs is incorrect. Right now though he is not looking so hot without a little magic from the radicons.
Eh, I'm just curious. Customs and ebay aside, are you guys gonna pick up the first issue or will u wait for the so called premium or newly improved series? I mean knowing 'hasblow'. Forever re-releasing figures. Coz I myself am not sure which would I want. Wait or get'em asap.
Not sure yet really. I think I will just be collecting the ones I really like and the rest will be for customs so at this rate I will have maybe a Fallen, Megs and Sideswipe. lol
you wouldent want to go too g1 on the head due to the monster look. id think of using first movie megatrons head as a base and go from there. just a thought im sure it will be sweet regardless
