It's tricky. On each front tire there's a round plastic "nut" thats been press fit to the metal axle. You have to loosen one and take it off. The trick is not mangling the plastic. If you have a very fine tipped soldering iron, you can heat up the metal axle and try pulling the tire and nut off at the same time. That's about the best advice I can give you.
