I see people using these in their customs all the time (especially jin saotome), and i cant for the life of me find a single one. Anyone know where to search?
I've heard they are in Walmart, but I've looked for them in San Diego area walmarts and New Jersey walmarts, and have never seen one yet.
They come out mainly during christmas. Seen them, wish I bought them, they were very cheap in price for lots of bits a morsels.
you know the guns that Jin Saotome uses all the time on his stuff? Those are mars kits. Take a look at his shockwave customs, he uses them extensively on those.
The company that makes these kits are carried by Walmart. They are cheap toys sold at cheap prices. I have seen toys from the company at Walmart but have never seen the MARS kit themselves. I wanted to get the kit too to make a Galvatron but no luck. I think it's been discontinued. Walmart usually carries other cheap toys too which which make for good kitbash fodder.
In Canada, Zellers stores also often have them. I know mine usually has the big playset with the lame looking figures and spaceship. Another store chain called Hart also carries some of the MARS toys...They always have the robot dinosaur set for sale. Hart is asking way too much for it, and that is why it's always available; nobody will buy it
It's just that every time I do a search on google to get an idea of what they look like, I either get Legos or something having to do with NASA and the Rover. So if anyone could take a picture of what these things actually look like, post it here.
