Hey all im wanting to make an animated version of saint/sinner. anybody have any ideas what they think could work for the character, either solely by disign or what would look good. Give me your ideas. and his alt mode will be entirely different from my oblicon universe figure. Any help greatly appreciated.
So he won't be tank/bot/bot? Is he at least still altmode/bot/bot? What size would you like to make him, I'll give some thought then post up suggestions!
he will still be an alt/bot/bot. but the alt mode can be anything really more focus on the bot/bot. one good one bad one body. thingking of using oilslick as the base for the figure. but who knows what might happen. hope i cleared it up a little
Oilslick could be cool, you could black out half the helmet and spin it around to reveal the different faces of Saint or Sinner, that would rock! Actually if you used the ram skull for sinner and Oilslick's for Saint with the blacked out helmet that would be sick!! I don't have mine handy to check (well he's handy, just in many peices) but I don't think the waist rotates so you might hafta work something out for the feet, dunno. Good luck whichever mold you end up with, I think you'll do a bang up job as usual!
Man, I've been thinking about this for a day now & I'm drawing a blank. I know you want to do Ani but Uni Sideswipe/Sunstreaker keeps coming into my mind as a really good way to do an Alt/Bot/Bot modes. I'm going to keep thinking about this one a little more. I'll get back to this thread if i come up with anything.
Actually, there is a really good Animated choice for an alt/bot/bot character. I'm being greedy right now because I'm using it for my next custom. Should have WIP pics in a day or so, then of course I don't mind sharing!
I'll tell you the faction, but please elaborate on what you mean by "combined with Oilslick" . Saint/Sinner is just one figure, no? I realize in the past he has been a combo of several figures, if that's what you mean I'm not sure how my secret figure would work, only because all Animated toys have such tight engineering, there's almost no room for parts-swapping! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Decepticon!

Did you want to do alot of work yourself R02?.... if not... Animated Shockwave might be your best bet if you wanted to keep it "simple" I mean, he already has 2 bot modes....and 2 alt modes....I'm sure you could work out something with that type of a palette. And I also like the Oilslick idea too....only thing is he has no waist articulation...might not be that hard to add though...but as it stands, with out adding removable parts to an Oilslick, it might be kinda difficult to get the 2 different looking bots out of it...you could try and fab up a side car attachment to it (like Samurai Prowl will have), and have that become armor in bot mode....have the armor so that it can attach to the arms/legs one way for Saint, and then just swap them around for Sinner Shinobitron did pull off two different bot modes with his Ani Ghost Rider/Johnny Blazeatron Custom.....
