Hey guys, we continue to have more and more new members and we love the expansion! Instead of everyone starting a thread saying, "hey, I'm new", I thought it cool to have one thread for everyone to post in.
Feel free to post a photo of yourself, perhaps with your favorite custom or something, tell us a little about yourself, and just tell us what TFs you find cool (or not so cool).
So go ahead, introduce yourself! Personally, I'd like to see EVERYone here post in this thread at some point, so this ain't just for n00bs! Go on, post! You know you want to!

Rev. Allen G here, otherwise known as "superquad7" (that's super quad there, no squads!). I'm getting ready to get my Master's in Christian Education, and I'm pretty much a goon (see photo below). I also love nice strolls in the mall to window shop mainly as well as using Books-a-Million and Barns & Noble for my public libraries (usually buying nothing there too).
I almost exclusively make Alternators and Binal Tech customs, with the occasional deviation from that. I love the G1 and CR/RiD cartoons, as well as the movie stuff. I enjoy collecting G1, G2, CR/RiD, Cybertron, Alts/BT (duh), Masterpiece, and Classics/Universe.

. . . and a few photos from the photo shoot for the interview article:
[ATT]17697[/ATT] I don't know the power of the Darkside!
[ATT]17698[/ATT] Trust me, this is the only photo you'll see of me drinking alcohol.
[ATT]17699[/ATT] It's me! It's me! It's Allen G!

Here's me.
And without the makeup...
I'm 33. I draw things. And write stuff. And soon, you will all buy a copy of some of my drawed things. But mostly lately I paint stuff. And post it here (or at Sector70).

(and while I'm at it, FIRST NON-FACIAL-HAIR-SPORTING RADICON TO POST! Woot! )
(Me this past August visiting old friends on their hippie farm in PEI.)
Let's see... my name is Zac, and I'm an original 80's Transformer kid, now a huge geek. I've got 2 BFA's (in Fine Art and Film Production) and manage an indie video store in Montreal. I like kung-fu movies, 70's funk music and slow zombies, and I'm a lapsed competitive fencer.
I got back into collecting Transformers when a friend returned from a year in Japan with Gundams under each arm. From there I hopscotched to Zoids, then to Battle Beasts, and then back to my first love, Transformers (unless there's a shift to Shogun Warriors on the horizon... SOC's look awesome these days!).
I barely consider myself a "real" Radicon, since I always take the easiest (laziest) approach to improving or altering figures, and hardly ever completely finish the projects I start... but I've got ideas coming out my eyeballs, which is why I keep buying figures I dislike with grand ideas about "fixing" them. Such is my fate.
The Dremel is my friend, but I fear the paintbrush.
FUN FACT: the zombie in my avatar pic really is, in fact, me.

I'm the guy your toys fear, AKA Dan.
I got started when an Alt Smokescreen got knocked off a shelf and broke.
So I broke it even more and called it a custom.
I also do Alt. repaints (spray primer & enamels) and more recently some GI Joe & Star Wars customs.
All my spare time is spent doing customs, average 2-8 per month.
I usually work on several at a time with dozens of figures awaiting work, both personal & commissioned.
Too bad I need sleep & a full time job...
I also have a few pet snakes & breed Corn Snakes yearly. |

My name is Frank, only 19. I've been collecting since 2002, and customizing for just as long. I'm a big fan of any gimmick that ends in "-master." Quote:

I've played and collected with transformers for as long as I can remember. When I went off to join the Navy back in '99 my sweet little brother sold off my collection for money. He's still alive, no worries. Since then I've been recollecting all my old favorites and alot of the new ones. Amazingly, I just recently found out about kit bashing, customizing, and the wonderful world of Radicons. I have all kinds of funs ideas, but no idea where to start. I'm actually trying to get some toys together to make my first customization, Leviathan. Starting out big with a Gestalt! Anyway, Gestalts of all sorts have always been my favorites. How can you beat a toy, that's also a puzzle, that turns into another toy, that combines with more toys... it's absolutely brilliant!
So now though, I am a Civil Engineering Tech, and a naval reservist. I'm with a Special Forces Expeditionary Unit. I was a Search and Rescue Swimmer when I was active, and now I train Anti-Terrorist Force Protection, Non-Lethal Weapons, and Hand to Hand Combat.
Sorry for rambling, but I also wanted to thank everyone on here for being so helpful as well it really is a great community.
That's a pic from when I was in the middle east.
