Your welcome, dude. Hell at least you don't have the Grizzly Adams beard, because damn I look like a wildman. Rumble02- I'm glad to be a freak its so much fun.
Alrite i think its my turn lol sooo here i am, Well Im Joshua, And iv always been the transformers fan of my family between me nd my brother i was like the number one! iv collected sence i saw my first transformer nd iv always customized figures sence i can remember lol broken BW or w.e id replace the parts n grab my moms Nail polish n make it look right (Im the white guy lol, n thats my closest friend lol we were @ a Banquet hall, BIG! PArty lol Dress code in effect as you can see )
Here I am!!!!!! 21 now and still working on my Bachelors in Graphic Design. Painting things since I was 3(started with moms dresser with hand paints and worked its way up to toys and Warhammer 40k Minis). I obviously a Transformers fan with my first toy being a G1 Sideswipe that my dad ran over with the lawn mower with a bunch of G.I. Joes on a reconnaissance mission(that's right I created the crossover! lol). I am a huge fan of Starship Troopers(the original book not the movie even though I enjoy them too) and still collect the miniatures that came out a while back. Other than that almost anything Mecha is awesome to me(Armored Core is my Fave Model Kits right now), robots or people in robotic suits bashing around have always been so damn cool to me. If you guys wanna know anything else you have to take me out to dinner first.
You two look sharp nothing demands more than guys in suits take it from me I too look like I could be an enforcer for the Mob, but thats cool with me.
There might be some pics of me about, but I'll be buggered if I can find them - I'm traditionally the one behind the camera! The only one I can find offhand (the missus might have some, but I'm not sure) is this old one that I've had as an avatar on another forum for ages. The original pic is long since lost, though. I'm wearing a suit and Kiss-style makeup for a Sack Trick gig a few years back. I'm Andy, 31, collector since '84 and customiser for about 10 years or more, on and off, but mostly on for the last five-ish. My first TF custom was a black repainted Bumblebee called Hardshell (who can be seen revisited here). I draw stuff, I paint stuff, I make stuff, and I'm having a go at writing stuff too. I've stupidly signed up to have a crack at NaNoWriMo this year, thanks to a bunch of NaNoers I go to the pub with, and my lack of backbone...
You know you look awesome with that facepaint, it kinda looks like a character that I'm also thinking of something like Joker, but darker. The characters name is Zobo, the Dark Clown. That look is especially dead on. So thats a cool pic of ya, thats for sure.
Took me awhile to find the pics I had uploaded to my website way back, but I finally did. And here we go! The wife and I venturing out to Kamakura in February to visit the Great Buddha. Added bonus, makes a great desktop background! Lucky me, got to take a pic with the one and only Chun-Li at Wonderfest sometime during the first part of this year. Hi-yah! Attack of the Master Hand! Where's Shigeru Miyamoto when you need him?! Hanging out in Tokyo's electronics district, Akihabara, waiting on the damn light to change... And like my friend Rodimus Dawg, Altitron is always on a plastic crack run! - Alty
My real name is Pablo García. I'm 30 and I come from Spain, but I crossed the ocean and went to Mexico to marry the love of my life. She gave me my first Transformer, a RID Prowl. I didn't like his head, so I change it, and that was the start (almost three years ago). I work managing enterprises (a cardboard one now, a mall three months ago). My wife is a graphic designer and owns a small book shop. We live happily in Mexico, we have two ferrets and thanks to my hobby I found some good friends. I'm missing my old friends and family some times, but Radicons help to make me feel not alone. A pic of my wedding. One year and three months of happiness, and counting.
I know, I'm a lucky guy. She's more beautiful in person, and the best part is what you can't see. Now, the rest of my family: Lya She's a little kind of super-ferret, extremely intelligent and agille, she can jump very high and climb like a cat (the top of the fridge is her personal record) Dylan He's cute and tender like a teddy bear. Look at his face.
Myself and my girls. My customs are mostly just straight repaints though I've begun to dabble in headswaps and other light modding. I've tried dyeing and didn't really like it enough to keep with it. Unless I'm doing a custom to be sold or entered in a contest (in other words, if it's just for my collection) I'm of the "eh that's good enough" school of thought. If there's a GLARING problem, I'll fix it, but sometimes I'm just no where near perfectionist with my stuff. I think that's mostly because I just want to be done with one project to move onto the next one. Way too many ideas. That's my problem. Some of my favorites of the customs I've done: Grimlock done for the Botcon Art Contest 2008 Original character, Jupiter.
That is awesome, Pablo. The pics of you, your wife and your pet ferrets, are cool and cute at the same time..okay I'm a sucker for cuteness get off my back. But seriously some great pictures.
Thank you very much, Eric. I have to insist they are not the best pictures of us, but they are cute. My life is full of cuteness, and some people could be disturbed about it.
