so today as i was driving around, i thought of armada wheeljack and how cool it'd be to have a classics version made from sunstreaker. at first, i thought i'd go home and look at wheeljack first before buying a sunstreaker to use as a custom. but then when i got to target, i just went ahead and grabbed him. when i got home, i immediately started a little work and carved a line down his hood. then i went online and realized sideswipe is the brother who should be used! so now when sideswipe comes out, i'll have to get 2 (one for my collection, the other for the head) and i'll basically have an extra sunstreaker ready for a custom. i've looked through my collection trying to see if anyone else would work with that type of head but all i could find was bm longhorn, big convoy, bw scavenger, and retrax. i also know that alt dead end has the sunstreaker head, but i'm not totally sold on making him since that's the only version of dead end with that head.

so are there any suggestions out there about who to make instead?

the head's not right. i need someone with at least a somewhat similar head to sunstreaker's. i lightly considered doing a pre spark tampering bw rampage, but i didn't think it'd really fit well

 

make a fan character any one you can imagine with its own unique back story and you can pretty much go any way you chose

 

I concur or do something you wouldn't normally do.

 

the guys over at the allspark have mostly gotten behind making it a pre-bw retrax. but as i was mulling it over today, i started to think more about big convoy. since it'd be sideswipe's body, making it big convoy wouldn't require me to completely change the exterior and i could leave a lot of it red. just have the bio reflect it as this was big convoy before he even became a convoy, sort of like orion pax

 

Personally, I'd modify the head, and make him into Wheeljack  

 

that'd be cool, but i don't do any of that stuff. i don't even want to try. i'm fairly certain i'd never be happy with how it came out

 

Wouldn't you be fine by just unscrewing 'Streaker's head and popping off the horns? I mean, you'd have a gap to fill, but filling material shouldn't be tough to come by.
