Hey all. I was looking at some pictures of the Marvel Crossover figures, and I got this idea for a set of War Within-like Dinobots. Probably not something I'll do, but just an idea I came up with, and decided to share with you. These are the molds I though would work well for kitbashes of the 5 Dinobots:

    Grey Hulk- Grimlock
    War Machine- Swoop
    Wolverine- Snarl
    Carnage- Slag
    Captain America- Sludge

Of course they would need new heads and some good paintjobs to make the homages work. I might do some digibashes later on to see what the molds would look like in the Dinobots basic color schemes. What do you think?

Well, their okay but I think the Dinobots should be more militaristic in design, but I guess you wanted a more different way, then I say go for it.

I actually tried to go for an entirely militaristic design for them, but I wanted each one of them to have a different mold. Really the only one that couldn't, with the right remolding, have a militaristic look to it is my Slag idea. By the time I came to looking for a mold for him, there weren't that many options, and the only one out of those options that made any sense was the Venom/Carnage mold.

I'll see what I can do this weekend, though I'm not going to make any promises. I'll just add the old Grimlock digibash I did using the Green Hulk as a base (don't feel like doing that one twice). I'm awaiting an email from one of my High School English teachers (whom I'm still in contact with), who's going to tell me their opinion of what I've finished of my fan-fiction story, and hopefully give me some good tips for it. That way I can edit the first two chapters, rewrite the third chapter, and then write the rest of the story I have planned with some confidence. Hopefully doing some digibashes will help keep my mind off of it till I get their email.

I understand completely..you know this might not work but give it some though well I've looked a the Marvel MegaMorphs some have potential while others well not so much, but what about the Thing that becomes a Jeep and it was a big cannon and at first it would be an interesting Swindle but whatever. Anyways if that helps if not just throwing an idea.

I've never really thought about the Marvel MegaMorphs. I'll give them a look and edit this post with my opinion.

Edit: They look somewhat interesting. Haven't really been able to find any really good pictures of them. From what I can tell of the Thing, he appears to turn into a tank, not a Jeep. we're supposed to be getting a Thing in the Crossovers line, so that might work better (especially the articulation and size). That and like I said in my first post, I'm came up with this idea completely out of boredom, and will most likely not actually do it.

Oh, I see well if you don't make them than thats cool anyway you dont have to.

Well I found a better pic but its on ebay and well by the look of it. It does look tank-ish in appearance but it was four wheels kinda like a jeep, so it might be a hybrid of a tank and jeep. So there you go I dont know if it'll be there but surely its really up to you, Raven what you do for sure. I can't to read chapter 3 of the fan fiction on to read it soon.

Update: Just added the Grimlock and Swoop digibashes I've done previousley, and my newly finished digibash for Snarl. basically just to see how the colors would look on the mold. If I were to actually do this they'd all have new heads. I'll either do the other two in the next couple of days, or just wait for better pictures of them to surface (thus making it easier for me to digibash). Depending on what he looks like, and what he turns into, the Crossovers Thing that we're supposed to be getting might work for either a better Snarl or Slag.

I like the Grimlock idea, but I don't think the classics Grimlock head anywhere close to the size shown in this digibash.

I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Hey I just got an idea maybe use the Captain America into Slag and use the Star Wars Transformers Turbotank into Sludge. What do you think, Raven?

Eh, I think that the Cap makes for a good Sludge base. That and the Turbotank wouldn't feel right with the others. There's very little chance I'll actually do these as kitbashes. Just came up with this idea for fun/out of boredome, and maybe to influence/give the idea to others.

Thats understandable. But at least it was cool to see what molds would work the best, so at least some ideas are floating about just need the motivation to make them a reality.
