OKay guys, I picked up an additional TFA soundwave figure and I'm going to be eventually coverting him over to a TFA style Blaster. My question is, what scale blaster head do I need? I almost contemplated the new universe blaster, but i want to get that old g1 feel out of him.

So before i decide to bust out the red and yellow paint, let's give me some ideas!

    Thanks in advance.

I'd say Robot Heroes or Actionmaster.

    Cybertron Landmine

    and Energon Landquake

come to mind, I think Landmine may be a better scale for TFA Soudwave.

Good luck and keep us posted!:thumb

You may want to mod the TFA Deluxe Cybertron Prime head, it might work.

You could try tracking down a junker G1 Blaster, although the head might be a wee bit big to use on TFA Soundwave.

After seeing the other ideas, I believe Action Masters is the way to go.

Animated feel, but not too cartoony, and probably easier to paint on than the pvc Robot heroes.

Good luck with this, I can't wait to see it!!:thumbs2:

But does it have that "Animated" look, though? Hmm....

I'll do what i can to find some junkers...i do like the robot heroes head idea...might use that..probably have to flatten the back of it out though...now on to figuring how to incorporate the blaster deck lids into the arms and legs...oh and figuing out a nice 4 button setup for his "crotch"....

You could always mod Soundwave's with some Mighty putty or Epoxy-sculpt.
It's not as hard as you would think, but it does take time.
It would also save you the trouble of finding a junker that suits Animated's look.
