Customs: how do i "dry" cybertron vector primes wings and sword?

    i repainted him AGES ago, but his wings and sword are still sticky (ick). is there some kind of specail sealant i need? i had this same trouble with cryoteks neck, but i somehow figured that one out

    it's the plastic man. they way I've gotten around that in the past is shoot a basecoat of krylon primer (coats and cures just about everything) and then paint. also, let the time between coats fully cure. I've had things go down fine for the first coat, even dried to the touch great. but when I shot my second coat on it never fully cured and stayed tacky. It sucks but that's the way it has to be for some plastics.

    yea, it's the plastic. I painted TM2 dinobot YEARS ago. and he still feels sticky.

    I used Krylon satin white on the wings & Blue Hyacinth on the sword for my VP bash. I don't have the problem you are referring too.
    I did however soak the parts for 4 days in 99% Iso alcohol & scuffed them very lightly with a scrub brush.

    hmm im assuming u are using enamal.. the plastic is so soft i wuld only suggest using acrylic for thatpart of the bot

    Yeah. Use acrylics. Enamels and sprays won't dry on that kind of plastic.
